How to remove co-host access?
To remove co-host access from Houfy please follow these instructions:
- Please select menu > Manage Listings.
- Select a listing you want to remove your co-host from, and then click Edit.
- Click Settings from the left menu and click on Contact Person.
- Scroll down to Listing co-hosts, and click on Remove.
Changing contact person on Houfy
How do you change the contact person from me to my co-host? It's my house and listing, but I want my co-host to handle all the communications.
Step 1: Go to profile settings and add & verify secondary e-mail of your co-host. (Your co-host will need to give you the code.
Step 2: Go to Manage listings > edit your listing > settings > contact person - select secondary e-mail in the drpdown at contact e-mail.
How to show my homepage/website on Houfy listing?
To show my homepage/website on the Houfy listing, please follow below steps
Note: This feature is available for the subscribed members only.
- Add your home page at Edit listing > Settings > Homepage/Social websites.
- Go to your Account settings
- Turn on Show Homepage/Social sites.
How do I set a minimum age for my listing?
You can specify the minimum age required to make a reservation at your Houfy listing.
Follow these instructions below to change the minimum age:
- Log in
- Menu (top right)
- Manage Listings
- Edit > Settings
- Rules: Scoll down to near the bottom to change this minimum age requirement.
How can I change my setting from property manager to owner one my Houfy listing?
- Please select menu > Manage Listings.
- Select the listing you want to edit, and then click Edit.
- Click Settings from the left menu and click on Contact Person.
- Select the Owner of the field-managed property.
How to add or update your cancellation policies on Houfy
- Please select menu > Manage Listings.
- Select the listing and click on Edit.
- Click Settings from the left menu and click Payment & Policies.
- Fill in the necessary details and click Continue to proceed.

Where Does My Guest View the Agreement?
After guest enters dates and clicks "Request to Book," the screen below will appear. Guest can download the agreement for review before checking the "I agree" box.
How do I ask the guest for signature and collect ID?
This final step is not required but highly recommended.
- In your House Rules you can mention a signed agreement and ID of the credit card holder will be required before the booking is confirmed.
- Choose an E-signature service to obtain the guest's signature OR
- Message the guest through your Houfy inbox. Upload the agreement there and ask them to print, sign, and scan back along with copy of ID.
- Email the guest directly. with agreement and your requests
