How do I create a collection?

A collection is a group of similar posts, or you might only need one post in your collection. This local information is helpful to travelers when choosing where to stay. You can create a collection about hiking, museums, restaurants, etc.

  • Collections can be set to private or public.
  • Public collections appear under your Houfy profile.
  • You can also attach a collection to any of your listings.

To create a collection please follow thses steps:

  1. Click on the + icon on the top bar
  2. Select Collection
  3. Choose a title that describes the types of posts in the collection.
  • Select an Industry. (Real estate is for properties listed for sale on Houfy). 
  • Select a Category.
  • Type in the city and select a Location from the drop down menu.
  • Set to Public or Private.
  • Click Continue or click on Photos in left menu.

View the collections on your profile: Menu > Collections
