House Rules & Notes

Welcome to the Gathering Place!

For your own health and safety, cleanliness and hygiene are our priorities. We are adopting the recommended 5-step enhanced cleaning process. Please help us achieve that.

During your stay

1. No parties please.

2. Smoking is not allowed inside the premises - including vaping. If the property gets a smoker's smell in it, an additional cleaning fee can be payable.

3. This is a residential area and we are governed by noise restrictions so quiet time from 10pm – 8am.

4. You are welcome to bring your own linens, however linens are provided for your convenience. Towels (1 per person) and additional pillows can be found in the linen cupboard opposite the bathroom. Please do not use any provided towels for make-up removal purposes as it won't come off in the wash.

5. Please bring your own beach towels. After beach visit, please wash sand off at an outdoor tap before entering the property.

6. Please check the NSW fire-ban status (1800 679 737) before using the firepit (only to be used in the open grass area please).

7. We provide bikes/helmets and body board for your enjoyment. Please return them to the backyard undercover area after use.

8. Please ensure windows are closed, doors locked, and appliances turned off prior to leaving the property - even for a short period.


Check-out

1. A late check-out may incur a fee, unless otherwise agreed with the host.

2. Please clean everything in the kitchen before checking out. Place trash in the large red bin in front of the property, and recyclables in the yellow.

3. Please strip any used bed sheets (not mattress protectors please), pillowcases and quilt covers, and leave them in the bath tub so our cleaner knows what needs washing. For unused items, please leave them as is.

4. Any damage caused by the guests will be charged to the guests.


Pet Rules

Please specify the type of pet in your booking request. Usually only one pet per stay is permitted, unless otherwise agreed with the host prior.

Pets are welcome inside the house under the following conditions:

1. Not in the bedrooms; strictly not on furniture – beds, sofas etc.
2. Clean and dry pets only
3. Guests to bring everything their pet would need for the duration of the stay e.g. feeding (water/food bowls etc), towel, blanket, pet beds…etc
4. Pet is not left alone in the property.
5. Pet can only sleep in the tiled areas.
6. All pet litter is to be picked up, and pet hair removed before your departure. Additional cleaning fee will be charged if our cleaner needs to clean after the pet.
7. Any damage caused by the pet will be charged to the owners.

Please note we have a security camera outside the house for security purposes.
