Welcome to our home! We are so happy you chose our place for your trip. It is our goal to provide you with a wonderful experience. Please take a moment to read the following rules at the beginning of your stay: Check in - 3:00pm Check out - 11:00am We love pets! But unfortunately, no pets are allowed. The Lower East Side is a popular place, so parking can be difficult at times. Temporary overnight parking permits will provide you with free street parking, but please pay attention to parking signs...especially during the winter months! After booking, we'll send over VERY simple instructions to request the free temporary parking permit from the city for each vehicle. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the home, but you can smoke in outdoor areas such as the the front porch, on the upstairs balcony and out on the back patio...please pick up any cigarette butts and dispose of them properly. If smoke odor is found by our cleaners, an additional $100 for further cleaning will be charged. Our neighborhood is very important to us, and our neighbors live and work here full-time. Please respect the community and avoid making loud noise between 10:00pm and 8:00am. We've put a lot of effort into making this home into a lovely space. Please treat it with the same respect as you would your own home. Please do not eat in the bedrooms, or move/rearrange any furniture, and we kindly ask that you tidy up in the kitchen/bathroom after use. If guests chose to move furniture into other rooms, an additional $100 charge will be applied. Please make sure to turn off the lights and TVs when you leave the house. And don't forget to close the windows and lock the doors. We want you to relax! Soiled towels can simply be hung on the hooks in the bathroom and bedrooms. Soiled sheets and blankets can be left on beds...we'll take it from there! Any dishes, silverware, pots and pans can simply be loaded into the dishwasher and start the cleaning cycle...we'll put it all away for you! On your way out, please remember to take your trash and recycling bags and drop them in the bins found in the walkway, just outside of the gate. Due to the nature of our business, we must have a zero tolerance policy for parties or large gatherings of any type or smoking indoors. We reserve the right to inspect the home at anytime. We greatly respect our home and the neighborhood and kindly ask you to do the same. If we notice excessive noise, number of guests, or other rule violations, we will likely take steps toward ending your booking. If we or Airbnb feel that it is necessary to end your booking, you no longer have the right to be on the property. You and your party will be asked to leave immediately. Unfortunately, if a reservation is ended due to a violation of the rules, it will be at the guest's expense. The number of guests on your reservation must match the total number of people on the premises during your stay. We reserve the right to charge an extra $100 per person that enters the premises beyond the original reservation amount. However, we understand you may wish to have people "stop by." In this case, please communicate with us beforehand, and we can discuss your plans. We simply hope to have open communication and for everyone to enjoy a 5 star stay.
