Sweet Coralina is a 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath cottage style house with 5 beds as follows:

ISLAND ACTIVITIES
○ BEACH IT
The access path across from house is mid-block access which is a much lesser used
access than others with parking. With beach is so close, you can set up & go back to
your house as needed. Low tide provides the most sand for beach go-ers. Watch the tide
chart and plan your beach trips around high tides. Beach equipment is included with your
rental! Many shark teeth wash up on Follys shore, so add that to your agenda!
○ WALK EVERYWHERE
The cottage location means not needing to use your car and deal with
parking lots, parking fees (and contacts) and parking restrictions due to Covid
(crowd control).
○ RESTAURANT OUTDOOR DRINKS/DINING & TAKE-OUT
All island restaurants are a level 2–7-minute walk away and many offer outdoor dining
options in addition to carry out. The city has implemented a temporary ordinance to
allow restaurants to carry seating into their respective parking spaces (with
barricades) to create additional opportunities for social distancing.
○FREE OFF-STREET DRIVEWAY PARKING (including room for a BOAT)
Bringing a boat? The driveway is EASILY large enough to park a truck with trailer!
○ SUNRISES
Only 2 minutes to beautiful beach sunrises, or drive or bike to Morris Island
Lighthouse Trail on the islands east coast for the best sunrises and views of the
lighthouse.
○ SUNSETS
Yes, sunsets from an East Coast shore! The Folly boat ramp is within walking distance,
offering a variety of sunsets with the Ashley River as the backdrop. Drive or bike to
the Folly Beach County Park on the west side of the island for breathtaking
beach/marsh sunsets depending on the time of year. With over 2,500 feet of ocean
frontage and 200 feet of River Frontage and a large parking lot, there is plenty of
room to spread about.
○ BERTS 24-HOUR MARKET
At only 200 steps away, Berts provides the basics, beers, snacks, beverages, frozen
foods, fresh good, meats, plus specialty gluten free, vegan, and organic options.
Other ready-to-eat options cure any craving with made-to-order wraps and
sandwiches, ice cream, home-made pastries and cakes, and daily sushi deliveries.
○PARKS/PLAYGROUNDS
WAVE WATCH and PIRATE’S COVE PLAYGROUND (w/Tennis & Basketball Courts)
are within walking distance to the East and to the West.

THE SPACE
A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher provides all the essentials to prepare your meals with dining for 6 in sunroom and a breakfast nook for 2 at the kitchen island.
Sweet Coralina is roomy enough to sleep 6 or 7 with arrangements as follows:
Relax, dine, read, etc. in the roomy sunroom.
The living room has a 43-inch Smart TV/ Use your own account information to access Netflix, Hulu, Sling, Prime Video and more.
Beach amenities included: chairs, chair cart, sand toys, boogie boards, umbrellas.
Other amenities: various sporting equipment & toys.
Bed and bath linens are included as well.

What can be a typical day at Sweet Coralina?

In the morning, set your alarm for sunrise & take the 2-minute stroll to the beach for some of the most amazing sunrises you will ever see! Back at home, make yourself some hot or iced coffee and with a full-service kitchen, make your breakfast as simple or elaborate as you choose.

Heading to the beach? Grab the supplied beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie board, sand toys, and take the path to beautiful Folly Beach. When you return home and use the Solar-powered outdoor shower with foot rinse to free yourself from the sand and the salt. If you are a sunset freak (like me), check the sunset time and decide which Folly location will be providing your sunset of choice.

If you are enjoying a relaxing evening at home, dinner can made on the charcoal grill provided and can be served on the enclosed porch with seating for six. Get the blender out for a pitcher of margaritas, dim the lights, and hang out on the comfortable wicker chairs or grab one of the board games for a family fun night. If you decide on carry-out, all Folly restaurants are walk-able. If a sweet tooth hits, you are only 200 steps from fresh-baked goods and ice cream at Berts 24 hour market!

If going out is on your agenda, you are only 5 minutes from Center street - the heart of the action on Folly Island. With options such as: steak, seafood, sandwiches, Italian, Mexican, Hawaiian, or Irish cuisine, Folly offers enough variety to satisfy any palette!

As you return the few blocks home, head to the sunroom, dim the lights, and in the still of the night, open the windows and listen to the waves.

Folly boasts a variety of other activities such as: fishing, sailing, and dolphin watching charters, surfboard, kayak, golf cart, and paddle board rentals, beach combing, shelling, and shark-tooth hunting.

Hello and thanks for reading! It's always been my dream to live in a warmer climate near the ocean and a beach. I'm a Wisconsin gal who just simply cannot "do Winters" anymore. So, I'm sharing my home with guests for now until I make the permanent move to SC.
Why Folly? I visited Folly Beach once and, boy was I hooked! Enough so, that I have visited several times now and quickly found myself searching for property. Besides the obvious of the beach, ocean, sunrises, sunsets, and restaurants, it's the people I have run into in the area that make it even more special.
During your stay, my home will be your home! Since I enjoy comfort, relaxation, tranquility, simplicity, cleanliness, and a tad of luxury, I wouldn't expect my guests to have an experience any less than this.
I am a frequent traveler so I know the importance of a stay that truly feels like a home away from home. I've had so many experiences that I am excited to share the positives and attempt to prevent the negatives in Sweet Coralina.
While you may not see me, I will personally be handling communications with you and if needed will deploy local friends/property managers to assist with any on-site property needs.

Getting around

Walk EVERYWHERE! 2-5 minute "easy" walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, liquor store, Bert's 24 hour market, and all island rentals (golf carts, surfing, fishing, bikes, motorized carts, paddleboards, kayaks, and more.)

Check In: 4PM - Flexible

A contact-less check-in process let's you check in at your leisure after 4pm. You will be provided a code for entering the home which is unique to each guest and only active during that guest's stay (no keys, no shared codes). More information is sent after 100% payment is made and prior to your check-in date.

No parties, no pets, no smoking in house, and no outside audible noise after 10pm.

Refundable Damage Deposit

All damages MUST be reported promptly to Sweet Coralina staff, who will determine the extent of repairs necessary. The GUEST agrees to indemnify the Owner for any damages caused by their carelessness and negligence including, but not limited to damaged property, missing accessories, and missing or damaged linens. The AGENT has full authority from the Owner to collect for damages at the AGENT'S discretion.
Upon guest check out, if no damages or noise violations have occurred, the deposit will be initiated within 7 days.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days prior to check-in will receive 100% of the amount they’ve paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive 50% of the amount they’ve paid. Guests who cancel within 14 days of the check-in date will not receive any refund.
