Welcome to Sunshine & WhiskSea! This spacious, family friendly condo sleeps up to 10 people, and is located on the beach side of 11th with an easy 7-10 minute walk (NO roads to cross before your feet hit the sand) or 3 minute golf cart trip to the beach.

Relax at the sparkling pool and hot tub with plenty of chairs & shade just steps from the front door! Then walk 2 minutes down the road and grab a slice of pizza or a snow-cone from Jackfish (our kids favorite on a hot afternoon).
Sunshine & WhiskSea offers 3 stories for our guests to enjoy, with private sleeping areas on the 1st and 3rd leaving the 2nd the perfect indoor/outdoor gathering and dining space. No neighbors above or below you!
First Floor
This area has the entryway and front door/garage door access. This first floor also houses the primary bedroom with ensuite bath for maximum privacy. The primary bedroom includes a King bed with Temperpedic mattress, a large walk-in closet with plenty of luggage space, as well as a 43” smart TV. The ensuite bathroom has a spacious vanity with double sinks and ample counter space, as well as a large garden tub with shower, perfect for winding down with a glass of wine at the end of the day.
Second Floor
Perfect for gathering friends and family together. The highlight of this area is the large private balcony complete with amazingly comfortable new Adirondack chairs and tables. In the evenings, you can listen to the waves and watch the sunset. The large living room has ample seating from the brand new sofa. loveseat, armchair set (sofa also has a Queen sofa bed), perfect for watching a movie on the 65 inch Samsung Smart TV or some friendly competition on the XBox with included Game Pass!
This space is ideal for playing one of the provided board or card games, or just relaxing after a day at the beach. The open concept space flows right into the dining room, with seating for 10 and a fully-stocked full-sized kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a large pantry/laundry room adjoining with washer & dryer. A modern half-bath is located conveniently off the living area.
Third Floor
You will find 2 large bedrooms with an adjoining Jack & Jill style bathroom w/ 2 sinks and a separate toilet & bathtub/shower room. The first bedroom includes full-sized bunk beds, a twin trundle bed with brand new mattress, and a pack and play in the large closet for the littles. The second bedroom has a queen bed and large, French door style windows. Both upstairs bedrooms are also equipped with Smart TVs.
Beach Equipment
When you are ready for the beach, check out the deck box on the back patio and shelf in the garage and find a plethora of beach gear available to use. When you come back at the end of the day, just rinse off with the convenient hose right on the front steps!

We have everything you need for everyone, including a Pack N Play, high chair, beach toys, board games, children’s utensils, XBox & more! As a mom myself, I tried to include everything I always love having when we rent a space.

Hello! Thank you so much for considering spending your vacation at our little slice of paradise in Port Aransas.
We are a family of 5, with kids ranging from 8-14. All of us were born in the Salt Lake City, Utah area where we lived until 2020, when we got sick of the snow and packed it all up for our move to Austin, TX. We have fallen in love with our new home state. We are definitely a beach family, so we were so excited to discover Port Aransas and how close it is to us!
We share a love of collecting bourbons, traveling with our family, friends, and sometimes just as a couple (mom and dad need time too). We are avid New Orleans Saints fans (it's a long story...feel free to ask!) and fall football season can never come too soon.

The Port Aransas Ferry System operated by the Texas Department of Transportation provides FREE transportation service 24/7/365. The short ride connects Mustang Island and Port Aransas to the mainland via Aransas Pass.
The Port Aransas Shuttle travels daily through the city. All the main streets and several side streets leading to the beach are served. Catch the shuttle at designated locations or just give one a wave and climb aboard anywhere along the route.
Parking at the Meridian is tight, so please consider carpooling if multiple families are staying at SunShine & WhiskSea. Guest have 2 designated parking spots, one in the garage and one in the driveway. The single car garage can accommodate no larger than a mid-sized sedan.
The Meridian has limited overflow parking across from the pool. This is double parking style, one car in front of another. If you are the rear car, please leave contact information clearly visible on your dashboard and be prepared to move your vehicle if aske

A unique code will be sent to you prior to arrival. This code will only work from 4 pm on day of check-in until 11 am on day of check-out, unless early arrivals or late check-outs have been approved.

Minimum age for check-in is 25 years old, absolutely no exceptions. This person must stay at the property each night it is rented.

No more than 10 people may occupy this unit without prior approval from the owner.
House Rules
Minimum age to check-in: 25 (no exceptions). Check-in Time is 4:00 pm - Early check in by request if available will be an additional charge of $250.
Checkout time is at 11 am. If you are not out of the house at this time, you will be charged an additional night's rental fee. (We need time to get the house ready for our next guests, so please be considerate)!

Dogs only, no cats or other animals. Owner is allergic to cats and non-hypoallergenic dogs, so prior approval of breeds is required. Also, please note, there is no fenced in area or grass at the Meridian.
You will need to walk your dogs on a leash a half block to find grass. You must pick up after your pets.
Pets MUST be kenneled if left alone in the house. No exceptions. If pets are barking, whining, or otherwise disturbing the neighbors, guests will be given one courtesy warning. Any further complaints will result in guests being asked to leave the property and no refunds will be given.
If any violations of these pet policies occur, the $500 deposit will be forfeit.
Guests will be charged for any property damages including but not limited to; missing/damaged linens, furniture damaged beyond normal wear and tear, missing/damaged kitchen items.
If the house is left in complete disarray with trash, food and/or debris beyond normal use, guests will be charged a deep cleaning fee of $350.
Trash - Please take all trash daily to the Blue dumpster located on the North/11th St side of the West building. All trash must be placed inside the dumpster. Do NOT put any trash in any construction dumpster or in the pool trashcans. Please DO NOT leave trash outside as we have many nocturnal animals on the island, along with curious seagulls and other birds. If bags of trash are left in the condo or on the balcony, a $25 fee per bag will be charged.
BBQ Grilling - The grill is located in the garage and may only be used on the front porch or in the driveway. Absolutely no grills or open flames allowed on the balconies.
Before traveling to Port Aransas/Meridian Condos please plan the correct number of vehicles you drive in accordance with the rules below:
