- Perched on a sun-drenched hill, this is a place you go to if you wish to leave the world behind. A place to get away from city life and back to nature. You could easily lose track of time here.
- If you are looking for an authentic experience within an organic land, while taking advantage of everything Skopelos island has to offer, this is a place to base yourself and explore.

LIVING AREA WITH DINING AND KITCHEN
- Cosy modular sofa (chaise longue) for seating, sleeping and storage needs. It unfolds to make a single bed (80cmx200cm) for a 3rd guest, more suitable for a teenager rather than an adult.
- Just refurbished, the well fitted kitchen offers quartz countertop with sink, and is equipped with full size fridge/freezer, glass cooktop with oven and extractor hood, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and clothes washing machine.
- Kitchen cupboards are fully stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans and dinnerware you will need to make any home-cooked meal.
- Complimentary staple items include: organic olive oil from our own trees, local herbs, salt and pepper, vinegar, filter coffee, and more. Also, table linen, paper napkins, tea towels, dish detergent and sponge, shopping bags, etc.
- The kitchen tap has a filter for good water quality and avoiding buying bottled water.
- Included in kitchen cabinets, there is a clothes washing machine and complimentary washing machine tablets.
- Your own flower pot, just outside the front door of the apartment, offers fresh garden mint (spearmint) to use as a culinary herb to make sauces or to accompany vegetable dishes, meat or fish.
PRIVATE TERRACE
- Off the kitchen door, it is equipped with comfortable garden furniture to enjoy breakfast, al-fresco meals and wonderful views across the pine covered hills of Stafylos area.
- You are protected from the sunshine all day long, since the parasols can be tilted. You can adjust the height of the parasols to perfectly suit the space.
GUEST ACCESS
- From the parking area at the entrance of the land, access to house is via a pretty steep footpath of 80 meters length, and for this reason the apartment isnt suitable for elderly guests, people with walking difficulties, and ladies with high heels (flat shoes only please, you can leave your high heels in the car).
- From the main road that skirts the island, access to the property is via a dirt road (NO asphalt).
- Please note that local taxi drivers do not operate on dirt roads.
- Local car rental offices offer cars suitable for the rural roads of the island. Prior to your arrival, I can assist on renting a vehicle from our local agency at a reasonable price, if you wish so. For motorbike rental, a driving license is required.
- If you come with your own car, we do not recommend a vehicle with vulnerable tires for dirt roads (very low profile and /or wheels).

- Our cotton linen and towels are home washed with care, dried under the Greek sun and hand ironed.
- All windows and doors are equipped with functional, easy to use insect screens.
- Although our family home is just above, the layout of the apartment makes it feel private, with a relaxing atmosphere, its own entrance and private front balcony.

Soft memory foam pillows adapt to the shape of your head and neck. Air conditioner and fan. The ensuite bathroom has walk-in shower, hand basin, wc and laundry basket.

Only allowed outdoors, but with great care to avoid fire due to the heat, dry environment and adjacent forest area. Add some water to the ashtray and extinguish your cigarettes thoroughly.
No Parking
The free parking area is located at the entrance of the lower part of the plot. From there, access to the house is via a fairly steep 80m path. For this reason the owner will transport your luggage in his 4WD vehicle or by some other means.

Getting around
- To enjoy the island to the fullest, a vehicle (car or motorbike) is essential, unless you are a keen walker.
- Skopelos Central Port is 2.6 km (1.6 miles) away. The Old Town of Skopelos enjoys special status as a ‘traditional settlement of outstanding beauty’, but that’s not to say that there isn’t plenty to do here. Lose yourself in the maze of back streets behind the buzzy harbor or hire a little motor boat and see Greece’s own ‘Emerald Isle’ from a delightfully different perspective.
- SKLAVENITIS super market, well known for providing best-in-class quality products, is 1.8 km (1.1 miles) away from the house, on the main bus road of the island. The KRITIKOS supermarket is at the same distance, on the main bus road.
- The nearest beach to the house, Stafylos, 3 km (1.8 miles) away, is located on the southern tip of the island. A fine shingle beach in a relatively enclosed bay, with transparent, fairly shallow waters. There is a small beach bar that serves snacks and iced drinks.

MEET & GREET. We always meet our guests at Skopelos Central Port or somewhere else we agree, to show them the way home. With this in mind, we need to know your travel details (arrival and departure time) so we can coordinate your schedule accordingly.

We regret we do not allow any overnight guests who are not booked using this platform. For one extra guest above two, there is a standard charge per night. If you are booking as 2 persons, the queen bed will be prepared. If two guests require to occupy 2 separate beds (queen bed and modular sofa bed in living room) you should inform us in advance, prior to your arrival.

- According to Greek law, we must submit your stay at the “Short-Term Stay Property Registry”. For this reason we will need passport number (or ID for EU citizens) right after the booking will be confirmed and prior to your arrival. Upon your arrival, we will ask you for the passports or IDs of everyone who will be staying at our accommodation in order to register them.
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
- Greece is among the most expensive countries in electricity price. With that in mind, you should turn off all lights and appliances when not in use or when you temporarily leave the house and/or upon checking out.
- Air conditioner may be used only when you are at home. Keep doors and windows closed when it is on.
- If air conditioner is running while the guest is temporarily away, host has the right to enter the apartment and turn it off.
SMOKING, VAPING, E-CIGARETTES
- They are allowed only outdoors, but with great care due to the heat and the neighboring forest.
CHILDREN
- Parents should be prepared to keep their children under constant supervision as house is not childproofed.
GENERAL HOUSE CARE RULES
- House towels are not allowed to be taken to the beach. Please, bring your own beach towels or mats.
- There is a laundry basket in the bathroom for the used towels.
- To avoid clogging the toilet, do not throw papers or other junk in it, bins are provided.
- Always fold the parasols when not in use and never use them when it is windy.
- Sun cream, makeup or ink can permanently stain linen. The oil as a rule will not launder out. We will request reimbursement if linen are destroyed.
- No eating or drinking on the bed. We will request reimbursement to cover the cost of odor removal and steam cleaning.
- Inform us immediately on any problem that may arise, so we can sort it out asap. Don't assume you know what’s best for it.
- Person who makes the reservation undertakes to report of any damage or loss, and to pay for such damage or loss. Security deposit is shown.
- You are fully responsible for lost house key. Associated fees of €100 will be charged for the entire replacement of the lock, as security of our guests is our priority.
- Please respect Greek quiet hours; from 15:00-17:30 and from 23:00-07:00.
