Located in Corolla, NC - Newly renovated oceanside home on a quiet cul-de-sac - Ideal size for a small family of 4 to 6 people.  Short 2 minute (800 feet) walk to the private beach access. 
Home has access to large (under-utilized) community pool!
In addition, community offers tennis (with pickleball), basketball hoop (on tennis courts), as well as a lake with fishing and walking trail.

Nestled among mature trees in a quiet cul-de-sac in Corolla's premier Ocean Sands community (Section HIJO), our renovated, clean, and comfortable home is a quick walk to the community's private beach access. This section of beach is next to a large undeveloped area so, when coupled with no public beach access, it is one of the least populated beaches in the OBX. Spread out and enjoy the quiet time that your vacation deserves.

We recently completed a large renovation on the home. Brand new sectional, mattresses, fixtures, ceiling fans, bedding, blackout curtains, rugs, smart TV's, stainless steel appliances, and more.

BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1 - 1 King Bed, featuring a 50" smart TV with streaming TV service. There is a small private deck off of this room.
Bedroom 2 - 1 Queen Bed, featuring a 40" smart TV with streaming TV service and a desk for those that need to get a little work in during their time away.
Bedroom 3 - 1 Queen Bed, featuring a 40" smart TV with streaming TV service. There is a small private deck off of this room.

Top Floor - Remodeled half bath
Mid Level - Bedrooms 1 and 2 share a remodeled "Jack and Jill" bath with a large spa-like tile walk in shower. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a hall bathroom with standard size tub.

LIVING SPACES
Top Level - Large deck located off of the Great Room provide a place to listen to the waves, relax, and take in the ocean breeze. The Great Room provides plenty of seating options with a brand new 60" smart TV and DVD player for your entertainment needs. The dining area is large enough to fit your entire family. The kitchen is well-equipped to handle satisfying hungry beachgoers in your family. This level features a half bath.

Mid Level - This level features 4 bedrooms, as well as two full bathrooms. Full size washer and dryer is also located on the level.

Ground Level - Car port entry with stairs to the mid level. Enough parking for three cars. There is an outdoor shower (with hot water) to flush away the sand.

Thank you for the thoughtful, fun welcome gift! We are grateful. The entire week has been beautiful. We have spent 5-6 hours on the beach and in the water each day. Your home is very comfortable. My husband captured a beautiful sunrise this morning, as well as other photos/ videos. We have been coming to OBX for about 22 years, and have stayed from Salvo/Hatteras to the 4x4 and all between. Corolla, by far, is our absolute favorite beach.

From the moment we walked in the door, we knew the home was clean and cared for. (I could tell you horror stories) The beds were all comfy, the master shower was amazing! And dusk views from the deck and window above the entry way were stunning. We are a family of 4 so didn't need any additional room- it was perfect. It was great having chairs, the wagon, and boogie boards for the beach. Location was perfection.
Thank you for sharing your home with us. There's A LOT to be said about a private rental. You guys made it easy and saved us the extra fees which made A BIG difference so we could come to OBX this year! Hope to see u next year!

It's our second summer going to OBX and we really appreciated the short walk to a quiet beach, especially w/littles. And having blackout shades is great! You guys provide a great variety of cooking utensils/pots/baking pans, books, games, blankets, etc. We appreciated not having to bring our own wagon to cart things to the beach. We thought it was great you stamped the mattress pads and pillows w/the house's name. Great idea. And your guest guide is awesome. Overall, I think you're doing great, especially for newer owners.

“We loved staying in your home”
We are new to the area and this was our first time vacationing in the Outerbanks. (holy traffic!) We loved staying in your home - the location is absolutely perfect and had everything we needed and more than enough space for us (3 adults and 2 kids). We liked all of the details and recommendations in the welcome folder and the access to books and board games - wished we could have stayed longer to make use of them! Liked that there were ample hooks behind bathroom doors for towels. And little notes and instructions everywhere- really thoughtful.

The upgrades you've made are great - master bathroom, kitchen/dining/family room were awesome. Loved having all the chairs/toys/wagon to take to the beach. Made it so much easier and the kids loved it. The smaller decks off the bedrooms were perfect for morning coffee and listening to the birds. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils. It was a great rental experience! Super close to the beach, and quiet but still had things to keep us entertained. Our family has vacationed all over the OBX for well over 10 years. In 2021, when a unique opportunity arose to purchase in this specific area of Corolla, we grabbed it! We work hard and want the opportunity to relax with our family without the typical OBX crowds. This home and beach are perfect for that. This is our family home and we only rent a few weeks a year. We hope that you will find cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail not typically found in large scale rental investment operations. We hope to connect with families that will appreciate the time, expense, and care that went into making this home what it is, and will respect our home as they would their own while they make their special family beach memories.
