Nature House, on Flathead Lakes beautiful Finley Point peninsula, was designed & built for people who like to chill in the woods.
Nature House is for folks who like to watch the water & the clouds move. Who like to soak with their sweetie. And breathe deep in a sauna. Or kick butt in shuffleboard. Hopefully all of the above!
Situated on a two acres hillside among towering pines, with beautiful views of Flathead Lake, you’ll find Nature House… a comfortable, clean, contemporary retreat on Finley Point. Grab a Turkish spa towel and robe and breathe deep in the outdoor sauna. Grill up dinner on the deck or warm up by the fire table and listen to the coyotes howl in the distance. Watch the deer, turkeys, and occasional bear. Look up and see osprey, hawks, and eagles flying and calling overhead. All while gazing out over the beautiful, blue waters of famed Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake West of the Mississippi.
Nature House is not only a beautiful refuge outside, but inside as well. Designed as a place of respite and rejuvenation for folks looking for a little solitude or for that perfect romantic getaway, Nature House is all about simple comfort. Giant windows make it feel as if youre living in the trees. Take in lake and mountain views while unwinding in the custom concrete soaking tub for two. Let the showers rain and jet features work their magic on sore, tired muscles. Relax and reconnect.
Nature House features two distinct sleeping areas depending on your mood and needs. Downstairs is a cozy, dark, romantic bedroom with queen size bed and television. Upstairs in the loft, wake up to trees and dazzling lake views in the cloud-like king size bed and enjoy a cup of coffee and good conversation in the comfortable sitting area. Along with wireless internet and 50 Smart televisions in the living room and downstairs bedroom, you’ll find a nice selection of books, music, magazines, and games for entertainment. And shuffleboard! There’s an 8’ shuffleboard table in the loft, for those guests with a bit of a competitive streak! A beautiful full kitchen looking over the lake, propane grill and outdoor seating on the spacious deck, and a stock of basic spices, oils, and condiments, make cooking at home delightful and easy. Love coffee? Theres a grinder, French press, traditional drip pot, and coffee grounds all ready for that morning cup.
Finley Point State Park is a quick two miles down the road and is the perfect place to launch your boat, paddle board, or kayak. Or take a short drive on one of the most scenic highways in the country, along the East Shore of Flathead Lake, and explore the waters and orchards of Yellow Bay and Woods Bay. Check out the galleries, theater, and restaurants in Bigfork… maybe book a sunset sailboat cruise! Head just eight miles South to Polson to stock up on supplies and grab a burger at Richwine’s Burgerville… locally owned and operated since 1962. Take in the spectacular scenery as you play a round of golf at Polson Bay Golf Course. Pick up some souvenirs at Polsons shops and galleries. Enjoy great food and atmosphere at the Finley Point Grill and the East Shore Smokehouse... both are just two miles up the road. Getting married? Nature House is only one mile from The Barn at Finley Point and is absolutely perfect for honeymooners. An easy 75 miles from Missoula and 45 miles from Kalispell, Nature House is the perfect getaway for locals and visitors alike!
Designed with natural intention and a contemporary sensibility, Nature House is all about comfort and connection to the surrounding landscape. Breathe deep and enjoy!

Hi, I'm Jen, and I'm so excited to host you at Nature House! With the invaluable help of my amazing family and friends, I was able to make a personal dream come true and built Nature House at Flathead Lake in 2018. So much good energy and love was poured into this space and I feel so fortunate to get to share it with my guests!

House Rules
Common sense basics: No smoking, no parties or events, no fireworks. While we love kids, the stairs and railings are not safe for little ones, so please, no children. (Nature House really is the perfect "grown-up" retreat anyway!)
If bringing a pet, please obtain approval when booking and pay the pet fee. Maximum of one pet is allowed unless prior approval for an additional pet is received. Please clean up after them, do not allow them to chase wildlife, and do not allow them on any of the furniture including beds, couch, and outdoor sectional. Pets are not to be left unattended unless crated. If you need a crate, please ask... I have one you can borrow.
Other things that aren't really "rules" but that are important to note: The dirt driveway is steep and there is a short, steep uphill walk on a solar lighted trail from the parking area to the house. Montana weather is predictably unpredictable and in winter conditions you will need a 4WD/AWD vehicle to make it up (and down!) the driveway. While Nature House is thoroughly cleaned between guests, its location in the woods means that occasionally bugs may enjoy the space as much as humans do. Feel free to squish or co-exist. While Nature House sits on 2 acres and was built with maximum privacy in mind, there ARE neighbors, including your host in the small cabin at the base of the property (which was also built with maximum privacy in mind).
Please note the Cancellation Policy before booking as it will be adhered to. If you have any concerns that you may have to cancel or alter your reservation, I strongly consider purchasing travel insurance.
Nature House is intended for peaceful, quiet relaxation with a maximum occupancy of four people. And it is really the perfect romantic get-a-way for two!
The number one rule? Kick back, relax and enjoy your stay!
