Hockers Grocery Store – a wonderful grocery store with a wide selection of organic, gourmet, and regular groceries staffed by very nice people
Hickman’s Liquor/Wine/Beer Store – left on Cedar Neck, then just go half a mile (not elegant but it’ll have what you want)
Tom and Terry’s Seafood Market – left on Cedar Neck, then just go half a mile
Big Fish Grill – left on Cedar Neck, then just go half a mile (great seafood restaurant)
G & E Hardware – left on Cedar Neck, then go a mile. It’s on the left side of the road.
Salt Pond Golf Course – right on Cedar Neck, left on John Hudson, right onto Bethany Loop by Hockers
James Farm Ecological Preserve – left on Cedar Neck, then go 1.3 miles. It’s on the left side of the road (Lovely walking trails, a small gentle beach, and kayak tours/rentals)
Fresh Pond Park – left on Cedar Neck, right on Hickman until you reach the park (Walking trails)
Royal Farms – right on Cedar Neck, left on Route 26. (Gas station and convenience store.)
CVS – right on Cedar Neck, left on Route 26
John West Park – right on Cedar Neck, left on West. At the intersection of West and Oakwood Avenues. Picnic tables, grills, a picnic pavilion, and a wonderful playground.
Bayside by Bethany Lakes Clubhouse/Outdoor Pool/Indoor Pool/Tennis Courts/ Pickleball Courts/Gym/Locker Rooms/Game Room/Grill - Drive by turning left on Cedar Neck, then turning left into Bayside by Bethany Lakes (there’s a big sign) then following the road until you reach the large clubhouse. It has a bright red roof. Or walk for 5 ½ minutes by turning right out our front door and walking until you reach the end of the road and see a sidewalk on the right side. Just follow the sidewalk until it reaches Bayside by Bethany Lakes Phase 1. Turn left when you reach the road and walk along the road until you see the clubhouse.
Bethany Beach – right on Cedar Neck, left on John Hudson, right on Route 1/Coastal Highway, left on Garfield Parkway. (Cute downtown with many shops and restaurants, boardwalk, and of course, the beach. But you knew that already.)
