The Bear Crickhowell

The Bear Hotel Crickhowell Brecon Beacons Wales is a traditional historic coaching inn dating from 1432.

The town of Crickhowell was awarded the best high street in the UK 2019 and The Bear Hotel is at the centre of it.

There is a restaurant as well as extensive tables in the bar areas. The menu covers all the usual pub food along with a specials board offering seasonal produce. The good thing is that all the tables are not bookable so it is possible to just turn up and get served even on a busy day. Orders are taken at the bar and the service is excellent and never appears rushed. We both had the specials and they were excellent! A definite recommendation.

You can of cause stay in the rooms as well to enjoy all the other things that Crickhowell has to offer.
