Noosa National Park

Noosa National Park

Noosa National Park is a short 25-minute drive north from the house. The National Park consists of 40km² of eucalypt forest and wetlands with pockets of dense vine-strewn rainforest. It is home to some of Australia's most unique and beautiful wildlife including the Ground Parrot, Koala, Christmas Bells and Swap Orchid, all of which are unfortunately endangered species.

National Parks in St. Augustine Florida

National Parks in St. Augustine Florida

There are two national parks in St. Augustine - the Castillo de San Marcos and Fort Matanzas. The Castillo is definitely a "must see" as it is conveniently located in the Historic area of St. Augustine. Fort Matanzas is located approximately 15 minutes south of St. Augustine and is a much smaller fort accessible only by boat (free ride) to the site, but definitely of interest to those that love history and a free boat ride!
