Paa Mul is so close you could take a taxi and go for lunch. They have a nice restaurant right on the water and a very quirky vibe. It's an RV park like you've never seen before If you're driving to Tulum or Coba, make a point to stop at Paa Mul for lunch.

Akumal Monkey Sanctuary & Rescued Animals
Our Sanctuary is a place where you can find a great variety of primates and other rescued animals. From the majestic and emblematic spider monkey to beautiful rescued capuchin monkeys and ring-tailed lemurs from the faraway lands of Madagascar. Our biggest success is becoming a home for rescued and donated animals of many other species such as goats, deer, and macaws.

Stop at the Turtle Bay bakery and restaurant while in Akumal. They are very hidden. Drive towards the beach and through the arch. There is a parking lot on the left (they charge) and Turtle Bay Bakery is hidden back in the trees along with some other shops. If you are going to spend Christmas in the Riviera Maya, you can order a traditional American Christmas dinner from Turtle Bay including Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries, and pie
