Safety and Use Tips For Our Mesa XL Solo Stove
The Mesa XL Solo Stove at Dreams Come True Cottage is a wonderful way to get cozy and warm. Solo stoves have a great design that reduces smoke and sparks and creates a longer, more efficient flame than traditional open fires.
Here are some important tips:
- The Mesa XL is kept in a storage bag in the three-season room. Included with the stove are the stove, the stand, and the top fire/spark ring. You must use all three components.
- A supply of firestarters is provided, but you can use small pieces of cardboard, dryer lint, and other items to help start the fire. Please use the firestarter sparingly and not as the only item burned in the stove.
- The stove can use pellets or firewood. Wood should be no more than 7" in length. Guests supply their pellets or firewood.
- The Solo stove should ONLY be used OUTSIDE, ON OUR PROPERTY. It cannot be used inside the house, the three-season room, or at the beach.
- The Solo stove (with the stand) can be used on the picnic tabletop or placed on the ground to enjoy the fire.
- After the fire has burned out and has cooled completely, empty the ash and remaining contents into the trash. Return the stove, stand, ring, and firestarter to the storage bag and place them in the three-season room.
Hot tip: roasting sticks are in the three-season room with the grilling tools.
