Since Clover's Cottage sits in the far western corner of Schuylkill County, don't assume that the closest farms are in Schuylkill County. We are a stone's throw from Dauphin County and just a beautiful back-road-country drive from all of these locations.
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY

The Blyler Fruit Farm has apples available almost year round and currently grows and carries 13 varieties and can store 25,000 bushels of apples. The farm also carries a variety of other fruits and vegetables, including peaches, nectarines, apricots, strawberries, plums, pears, cherries, sugar peas, pumpkins, turnips, and more. June - pick your own Strawberries; Fan favorite - freshly pressed apple cider!

DAUPHIN COUNTY

Apples, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, pumpkins, raspberries (black), strawberries, honey from hives on the farm, cider mill (fresh apple cider made on the premises), gift shop, snacks, and refreshment stand. Open U-Pick on Monday through Friday 8 am to 6 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm. Call to verify open hours, days, and dates. U-pick crops include strawberries, sweet cherries, sour cherries, blueberries, blackberries, apples, pumpkins, and Christmas Trees. Crossroads Sale and Farmer's Market and Auction - This may be cheating a little bit, but it is a good way to find a lot of local farm products all in one location. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Gratz-Auction/152538601424074 ; State Route 25 & S Crossroads Rd, Lykens, PA 17048 - Open Fridays at 10 am and open until perhaps 7 pm (varies), this is THE place to gather the culture of western Schuylkill County, PA. Amish food stands, local farm stands, baked goods, an auction, fresh produce, and seasonal treats, this is the social and economic hub of the area. Our favorite stops include $5 bags of smoked beef bones for our dog, the pie stand, the soft pretzel stand, and the Benigna Creek winery stand! Open year-round (only on Fridays), but the Friday open day changes occasionally for holidays (such as Thanksgiving). Shop here first for your Clover's Cottage stay needs! It truly can be an experience for the entire family.

Directions: Located on SR 61 1 mi. N. of the intersection with Rt. 487 and 1 mi. S. of Ghezzi's resturant. Approximately 7 miles from Knoebel's Amusement Park. Cash payment only. A seasonal roadside farm market is open seasonally from May through mid-December. The season begins with greenhouse-grown plants, selling perennials in several different container sizes and maturity levels. As the weather warms pansies with pizazz and cold-tolerant annuals are added. By the time the season is in full swing, a full line of bedding plants including awesome annuals, pleasing perennials, colorful containers, and beautiful baskets are offered. With the arrival of June, strawberries become the main focus, providing picked berries on the market stand as well as open fields for a U-Pick experience. No charge for the tasting along the way! Six to eight different varieties offered, so be sure to try them all. Though the field is open most days it is wise to call ahead to determine the field conditions and berry availability. By mid-July, most fresh fruits and vegetables become available, including sweet cherries, peaches, plums, pears, apricots, and apples. Many common vegetable crops are offered. As fall approaches there is fresh sweet cider offered as a local favorite, sold from mid-September until they run out of apples.
