Andy and I love salad bars. Charley's Boat House and Grill seems to be the only restaurant in Fort Myers Beach that offers one. The salad bar offers quite a variety of veggies, fruits, dressings and other traditional salad bar fare.

Lin's House Chinese Restaurant has finally reopened after closing their Estero Blvd location over 15 months ago. They are now located around the corner from Publix on San Carlos Blvd just over the border in Fort Myers. The Sunset Beach Tropical Grill is one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Myers Beach. It's only a short stroll away on the beach from our Beach Delight vacation rental. You'll have a wonderful view of the evening sunsets with the Fort Myers Pier offering additional drama.
Just about every restaurant in Fort Myers Beach offers al fresco dining. But it's the 6th floor of the Lani Kai at the Sun Deck that you'll get fantastic Gulf of Mexico views too. There's something to please everyone at the Sun Deck. Less than a 15-minute walk from our Beach Delight vacation rental, plan on enjoying a meal at the Sun Deck.

The Original Shrimp Dock Bar and Grill is a casual dining choice on San Carlos Island of Fort Myers Beach. We decided to head over on 1/2-price pizza Tuesday. We got a great table on the deck with a wonderful view of Matanzas Pass and the sunset.
If you're looking for a generously portioned, tasty breakfast with great service, you'll want to head to Sunflower Cafe located on the mainland of Fort Myers Beach near Walmart. Knowing that we are going to overindulge, we often choose to ride our bikes. Climbing the Matanzas Pass bridge helps us work off the calories on an otherwise flat 20 minute ride from our Beach Delight vacation rental. But you can always choose to drive the short 4 miles too.
