EXCELLENT!!!
The cabin was amazing, clean, and very spacious. I went alone and it was way more than I could have asked for. Everything I needed was there, kitchen stocked with all kinds of dishes/cups, utentsils, pots/pans etc. You can just relax and listen to the creek from any of the outside spaces. The host was very professional and attentive. I'm already planning my next trip there. Thanks again!!!

Response:Thanks so much Chris! Was an absolute pleasure hosting you! I do feel bad that you had trouble finding the place in the dark of the night. I guess a good point to anyone reading is try to get there as close to the 4pm check-in time as possible so you have plenty of light as it gets dark out in the mountains!! No Street lights out by the cabin! That being said, Chris didn't let that dampen his spirits and looked at everything as an adventure. We do hope you will book again now that you know how to find us!

Book this cabin!
My family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed this cabin! It was VERY spacious and clean! The kitchen had everything you needed to make a meal. The guest book, welcome card, snacks and kcups was a nice welcome! The host was immediately available via phone. The hot tub and jacuzzi tub was amazing! There was some snow on the ground which us Floridians really enjoyed! We can't wait to book this cabin again!

Response:Thanks so much Francis! Francis is an awesome guest as well. Had a slight issue where the previous guest had broken the toilet. Francis immediately reported the issue so I could dispatch my Handyman to fix it! And when it was time to leave he had a flat tire but none of those issues dampened his spirit, which is so awesome when most guests find any little thing to ruin their vacation! Looking forward to hosting you again next winter!

Woodhaven
Woodhaven is a lovely home in a great area close to blue ridge. It is well stocked with all of your kitchen needs. The hot tub area with wood burning fire place was our favorite. We also loved the screened porch. It is a smart home with google, nice large screen tv in every room. The only suggestion I would make is a gas grill. We would definitely rent again. Loved seeing the deer!

Fantastic! Fully equipped cabin.
The setup at this cabin was perfect for us. Three levels with bedroom, bathroom and living space for each. The FULLY equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare complete meals to share and have family time. There is comfortable furniture everywhere. It's not only in the three separate living spaces but on the porches, also. We picked up a bag of deer corn for the feeder and enjoyed watching deer every day. Anywhere from 2 to 8 at a time. (at dawn and dusk) The temperatures during our stay were mid 40s (day) and low 20s (night). The fireplaces were wonderful to have during our cold visit. Along with the interior gas fireplaces, the wood burning one by the hot tub was great. We soaked while the flames flickered, then had the warmth of the fire when getting out in 30° temps. During our stay, I had a question about equipment operations and the host responded quickly and was extremely helpful.Something that may be a concern for some. The road in has a steep gravel section. Our vehicle had no problems but it is something to be aware.

Response:Hi Brian, Can't believe I forgot to respond to this! Better late than never. Sounds like your vacation was a dream! We love the wildlife experiences our location provides. Glad you were able to experience that as well! And yes there is one steep section of a drive, but compared to other areas of Blue Ridge I think our drive is pretty tame. I do have a video of the drive from the highway to the cabin so if anyone ever has any questions just reach out and I will send it to you! When I travel to the cabin with my family I do so in my 2WD Chrysler Pacifica Minivan. I think if I can make it up the gravel drive pretty much anyone should be able to! Thanks again Brian and we hope to host a future stay for you!
