Tired of fish and shrimp? Or just more of a landlubber? Pensacola has you covered!
McGuire's Irish Pub
Have you ever seen more than 1 million dollars in one place? Well, you can at McGuire's Irish Pub! McGuire's opened in 1977 as a small neighborhood pub, with an old, New York, Irish saloon theme. But the restaurant has grown to a huge, 615 seat destination for locals and visitors that brews its own beers and is always ready for a party. Decorated with $1 bills for luck, it is a popular stop for large groups and parties. And if you like something besides fish, they are said to have the best steaks in town.
The restaurant is famous for it's "Irish Wake," a concoction best described by watching the bartender make it. It is definitely an experience that you have to try, but you may not remember!
And if you get tired of eating seafood while at the beach, check out McGuire's for brunch, lunch, dinner, or even a late night snack. Or maybe for just a drink. But if there is that one pescatarian in your group, no worries! McGuire's has managed to squeeze a couple of fish entrees onto the menu too.
Even though Tiki House has one of the finest kitchens offered in a vacation rental home on Pensacola Beach, we know even professional chefs eat out once in a while! So don't forget to let us know where you went how you liked it. Or add a comment below about your experiences!
