Sandy is an excellent host. Unfortunately our stay was interrupted by Hurricane Helene. Sandy was very concerned about our safety and well being. I would definitely recommend staying in this AirBnb.

Absolutely loved our recent stay in this beautiful home. The location was perfect for attending a nearby wedding, just a short and easy drive away. Everything was exactly as pictured and our group of 5 all felt at home. Beds and all common areas were extremely comfortable. Sandy, the host, was helpful, responsive and so friendly from the minute we booked. If ever back in the area we would definitely stay here again!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our family’s stay at Sandy’s place. The location is absolutely gorgeous with windy mountain roads and beautiful scenery, pristine golf courses and streams running alongside of the road. Close proximity to golf, pools, spa, putt putt, and groceries. Plenty of activities to choose from, including zip lining and gem mining, as well as great hiking for the hikers. The home is perfect, with comfortable and functional furniture, (mattresses are amazing), plenty of space and a lot of special little touches. Kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need to cook with, lots of games for entertainment and such a beautiful porch area for morning coffee, as well as the hot tub to relax at night. Sandy made us feel right at home the whole time and her kindness and thoughtfulness made it a perfect experience. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandy’s place. We frequent Lake Lure every summer and this was our first time at Rumbling Bald. My kids enjoyed the amenities and it was a beautiful resort only five minutes away. We were a little further from Chimney Rock and the river, however just a 25 min drive (the description is accurate as far as location). Spacious rooms, lots of blankets and comfy beds. Lots of extras like dish soap pods, laundry detergent, trash bags, smores stuff, and a fun game room. We appreciate the hospitality and responsiveness!

The house was just like the photos. It’s in a great location to relax and enjoy the lake. The lake is less than 10 minutes away and easy to find and access. The host left Smores supplies for the fire which was a great touch! The host also quickly responded to all my questions and was very helpful!

Sandy was very responsive and helpful. Made sure we were taking care of and had available needs for the baby. She made us feel right and home and welcome with many small things such as smores. I would recommend this place and host to anyone.

House was very clean, nicely furnished and description was accurate. We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful Lake Lure area. Rumbling Bald resort was great with lots to do. The location requires driving to reach destinations - resort is less than 5 minutes and Lake Lure/Chimney Rock is 30 minutes plus via very windy roads. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Beautiful home that was fully stocked with everything you might need. The beds were amazing so that was a huge plus. The host was super friendly and very responsive. Would definitely stay again!
