How to get to the Amalfi coast?

Amalfi Coast can be reached from Naples, Sorrento and Salerno, then you will find the public transportation in the form of Sita buses or you can use the more popular means of transportation which are the ferries. If you are reaching the Amalfi Coast from the north side first town you will see is Positano. After you pass Positano, next stop is the Praiano, then Furore, Amalfi and all the other magical towns and villages at the Amalfi Coast. If you are coming to Amalfi Coast with a car, be careful, because the roads on the Amalfi Coast are probably narrower and winding then you are used to. So, driving on these roads is not something for beginner drivers. If you not using public transportation it is better to use a taxi.

What to do on the Amalfi Coast?

· Beaches

Amalfi coast is full of beautiful beaches. One of the hidden beaches ones is Fiordo di Furore. Fiordo di Furore is a stunning beach located near the town Furore between two rocks and beneath a bridge that offers a great view and that from time-to-time cliff divers use to satisfy their adrenalin rush. If you are lucky you can catch some of them. Simply a must see for all visitors of Amalfi coast!

Duoglio beach is located in the village of Lone, between Amalfi and Positano (Closer to Amalfi if you go from Positano). To reach it you will have to walk 400 steps, which is not hard at all since the walk will be through beautiful nature and it offers a stunning view on the crystal and blue water of the sea. Some of the bays that you surely wish to see can only be reached by boat. From the Duoglio beach you can rent out a boat and those bays can be easily reached this way. Generally, this beach is more suitable for young people and the once that plan to do some sports while on the beach.

· Hiking

If you have not walked at the Path of Gods you have not been at the Amalfi Coast. It is the Amalfi’s Coast most famous hiking road that will leave you speechless with its stunning views of the see, nature and the historic heritage of this part of Italy. This hiking trail starts in Bomerano to Nocelle and ultimately ends at the iconic Positano. It is between 7 and 8 kilometeres long, so it should take you areound 3 hourse to complete the hike.
