OUR STORY
Hello, my name is Ricky, I’m a designer from New Jersey and General Manager at Mt. Maplewood Lodge. I grew up in upstate NY, lived in NYC for 15 years then moved to Maplewood with my family. We have family in the Poconos and love enjoying what every season has to offer, but in the summer we also love to travel. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do and feel like it is your home away from home!

Great Poconos Weekend
We had a great time at Mt. Maplewood. 2 couples and a pup. We skied nearby, and really loved the location. Everything was as advertised. Great information from the property manager!

Great getaway
Beautiful, quiet location. Close enough to grocery stores, gas stations, food. Close to Cammelback, Kalahari and Great Wolf.

Had such a relaxing and amazing weekend at Ricky’s lodge. Place has a very homey feel to the place, and so many little accommodations to place that makes it more special. I will def be coming back again!

Perfect Mountain Lodge Getaway
The cabin had something for everyone in our family. We loved spotting the deer in the yard, and watching the snow fall while cozy in the covered hot tub. The host is very accommodating and we would be glad to rent again.

Great place to stay!
This property was one of our most favorite VRBO rentals!! Ricky is an excellent host, who was extremely proactive and responsive with his communication! He truly cared for our stay - ensuring we were comfortable and more importantly, having the most amazing time. Ricky was truly welcoming and has one of the best check-in/informational document that includes recommendations and things to do in the area which truly maximized our stay.Ricky’s property is in pristine condition and was extremely clean when we arrived! The property was in such a beautiful, peaceful surroundings but more importantly. very well maintained. All amenities were in great working condition and we truly enjoyed everything that the home had to offer.Without any hesitation, I give my highest recommendation for this rental property and give it the highest rating possible!Thank you Ricky for being such an amazing and awesome host and welcoming us into your lovely home!!

Relaxing Getaway
What a beautiful view of the lake surrounded by snow covered trees. A very relaxing and much needed getaway. Everything was just as pictured. The owner was wonderful with communication and got right back to you when you needed something. The home was very cozy and just what we needed.

My family loved the place! The house immediately felt cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was by far the best stocked of all places I’ve stayed in. The games and game room were well used since it was very cold outside and we stayed indoors. The house was very clean and rooms just like the pictures. We are planning to go back in the summer or early fall to take advantage of the lake and surroundings. We were a family of 8 and a dog and we all had a great time. Highly recommend!
