We bought this place not too long ago given our love for Sonoma and wanting to have a retreat for our frequent visits, when our place is not rented for guests. Hencd the name, Sonoma Creek Retreat. My wife, Mona and I currently live not too far away in the Bay Area. We very much enjoy the wine country, hiking and various activities in the area, as well as the slower pace of the Sonoma Valley relative to some of thr big cities in the Bay Area. I was raised in the South Bay and my wife was born and raised in Monterey, CA. We hope you enjoy our place!

Could not have been more impressed with the cabin and the host. Extremely responsive and the cabin was so beautiful, clean and it’s situated in the most ideal location. One of the best hosts, cabin and experiences I have ever had on Airbnb. I wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back!

Randy is an exceptional host. There was a problem with the igniter in the stove on New Years Day. I reached out to Randy via the AirBnb app and he wrote back within minutes. He found a neighbor who offered to let us borrow a toaster oven while he tried to find someone to fix the stove. We never had to pick up the toaster over, because Randy was able to find someone to come by and fix the stove within an hour. That level of service from AirBnb hosts has, sadly, become much less common, especially with so many units managed by large professional management companies. Randy is a solo owner who takes serious pride in this unit, and it shows! Thank you Randy!!!

Can’t recommend this enough… not sure what was nicer… Mona and Randy, the house or all the wonderfulness inside of it to make some lovely memories. Thank you for being so kind, generous and thoughtful. Whether the great layout with no detail overlooked, fully stocked home with amazing views, a kitchen, dinning room, games and a home for welcoming family or a great location close to SDSU and all San Diego has to offer. Randy and Mona did not disappoint with this amazing house. They were amazing with all communications. The house is beautiful with an amazing view. We went to visit our son at SDSU, the house is 5 minutes from campus. It was great to be able to spend time with our Aztec in the comfort of this house. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend staying here. We plan to come back many times.

We had a great stay at Randy and Mona’s home. It is very comfortable. The location is amazing—a short walk to the community beach or a short drive to ski. The large outside patios are perfect for sitting and enjoying the lovely nature around you. It was clean and cozy. And the bedding was super nice too. We also appreciated that they were very responsive hosts—we were last minute guests and they were very accommodating. We would stay here again.

This is a great house in an area that is increasingly getting hard to find great places. Everything was clean and wonderful, and the games cabinet and bookshelves were well-stocked. We never got a chance to use the kayak, but I was happy we had the option.

Randy and Mona were wonderful hosts. They were extremely communicative, caring, and helpful. It’s clear they aim for their guests to have a five star stay. When an unexpected construction job started outside of the home, they were extremely accommodating to ensure all were comfortable. We will definitely stay with them again!

We had a wonderful stay at Randy and Mona's place. It's in the perfect location for Serene Lakes - a beautiful, peaceful setting with incredible access to outdoor activities - we went mountain biking on the nearby trails and loved swimming in the lake. The house is very clean, you can tell Randy and Mona love their place and sharing it with others. Would highly recommend it!

Our family had a fantastic stay at Randy & Mona’s place! The house is as-described, beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked, and the location is perfect (close to the water, trails behind the house, and a short walk to the SL beach).
