This was a lovely home in a great location in shoreditch. Close to many great things. However, the entrance to the building is in a weird cutout on the road and often times had urine or trash in the way. Also, the hot water did not work for us on the last day. Other than that it was nice.

Response:Thanks Tyler for your review. We’re sorry your experience was not up to the standard you wanted and we really would have wished you had told us this beforehand. There’s a site cleaner not too far away who would have sorted things out (although we have no jurisdiction for the front of the block unfortunately). She would also have helped with the water. The building has recently been fully upgraded and there have never been issues with heating/hot water so it’s in our interest to know this.

A lovely little oasis the heart of Brick Lane! A short walk to Liverpool street/Shoreditch, and very close to some fantastic bars and eateries. Bed/sofa bed very comfortable and the flat is immaculately clean and tidy. Elizabeth couldn’t have been more hospitable as a host, she was extremely quick to respond to any enquires, and knowing that we were 4 best friends that live in different parts of the world having a rare catch up, she very kindly offered us a later check out. Brick lane can be a bit noisy so I would recommend taking ear plugs - but that is to be expected when staying somewhere so central. I absolutely would not hesitate to book again during my next trip to London and would highly recommend to anyone for a base to explore the capital. Also, do yourself a favour and get a salt beef bagel from beigel bake (just across the road) - absolutely delicious!

This is a great option for a London stay for a solo traveler or couple. The space was clean and new and as the pictures show. Location is central and easily walking distance to buses, the Tube and shops/restaurants/bars. Check in and communication was easy - Elizabeth was a great host. The flat is on the top floor (stairs only) so something to note if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage and there can be some street noise but overall a great stay and recommended!

Nice and clean apartment in the heart of Brick Lane. Highly recommended when traveling for leisure as well as business as it’s walking distance to City. Lightning fast responses from the host and full support provided. Fully deserved 5 star review.

This place is a steal. The area is perfect! It reminds me so much if Williamsburg Brooklyn. Would not hesitate to stay here again. The host is very nice and accommodating! Thanks for everything Elizabeth!

Great location! The place was clean and was as described. We did have the electricity go out the second night, which wasn't ideal. However, that isn't the flat owner's fault. Overall pleasant experience.

The flat is on Brick Lane--a quick walk to a lot of trendy spots in Shoreditch and some great Indian restaurants. It is a bit loud on the weekend though, and the walls are thin. We also had an issue with the power tripping, and did not have access to running water for a night. However, Elizabeth was very communicative and accommodating, refunding us for the night and allowing us to check out later.
