Dear Guests,
Welcome to Snowflake Chalet. We hope you have a wonderful stay at our cabin! We recommend that you print this out before you leave home, or take a screen shot of the entry code, as the cell coverage at the cabin is spotty and you may have difficulty pulling it up on your phone.
Location
Snowflake Chalet is located at 310 Blue Lake Springs Drive in the Blue Lake Springs neighborhood in Arnold. Take Highway 4 through the town of Arnold. Just east of Arnold you will see a large sign on the right side of the Highway for Blue Lake Springs, at the intersection of Highway 4 and Moran Road. (Please note that there is an earlier turn-off for Moran Road in the town of Avery -- DO NOT turn there; instead to proceed through Arnold, a few miles past Avery.) Turn right on Moran Drive at the Blue Lake Springs sign, and then make the second left onto Linda Drive. Linda dead ends at Blue Lake Springs Drive. Turn right on Blue Lake Springs Drive.
Our driveway is about the 5th on the right side, directly across from the entrance to the Blue Lake Springs Recreation Center. Look for the Snowflake Chalet sign posted to the left of the driveway:
The driveway is long and sloped with room for several cars, and there is room in our garage for one car. (You will find a remote control for the garage on the small bureau in the entryway.)
Our front door is on the second level of our home, so please be aware that you have to carry luggage and supplies up a flight of stairs. Previous guests have suggested carrying your items in several smaller suitcases, rather than a large, heavy suitcase. That is just a suggestion for your consideration!
Home Entry and Security
The house has an electronic smart lock and does not require a key. To unlock the door from the outside, touch the Schlage logo on the keypad and enter the code we provided to you. To lock from the outside, simply touch the Schlage logo.
If you have any difficulty entering the cabin, please text or call Naomi, Rick or our caretaker, Melissa, using the phone numbers provided along with the code we we sent, and we will provide you with a code to a lockbox where a back-up key is located.
What to do if anything is not to your satisfaction
We work very hard to keep our cabin clean and well-maintained, but please understand that we are not here after every guest and occasionally little things need attention that we are not aware of. If you notice any issues with cleanliness, maintenance, or missing supplies please do let us know within a few hours of checking in so that we can remedy the problem as soon as possible.
