PARKING: Free parking. Driveway can fit up to 6 vehicles. NOTE: driveway is steep, but 4-wheel drive is not required unless there is snow.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Guests are required to sign our rental agreement to secure your booking - you will receive a link to sign after booking
Stairs are required to get to the front door.
We supply paper products (toilet paper, paper towels), trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, linens etc.
You will need to bring firewood for the fire pit.
Groceries and other provisions are located less than 20 minutes from the property.

Once you enter the gated community, it is a narrow, one lane road. Please go slow. 4-wheel drive is NOT required (unless there is snow on the ground – which is very rare but please check the weather report prior to arrival).

This is a private retreat in the mountains of North Carolina which means there are occasional deer and other wildlife that are part of the local ecosystem so please prepare your guests and do not leave any food or garbage outside overnight.

Due to the remote location cell service can be spotty but we do have high-speed internet.

Hosts are available 24 hours a day to answer questions and assist but will not bother you during your stay.

We will provide detailed directions to locate the house as well as the community gate code prior to your stay.

You will have access to the entire house and the private pond/dock. You are also welcome to enjoy the community playground and pavilion (1-minute walk).

Wilderness explorers and their families are sure to love this private cabin with nearby outdoor excursions.
