Down its long, secluded, tree lined driveway, you will find your own private paradise at Bear Cove Escape. This wooded, 6-acre retreat features a spacious home with 5 BD, 3.5 BA (up to 15 guests) and a loaded game room. Tucked away from the noise of everyday life, yet located just 2 minutes off Interstate 90, 6 minutes from the Wisconsin River boat dock, 20 minutes to Castle Rock Lake, 25 minutes from Cascade Mtn and 10 minutes to the Wis Dells, this retreat is the perfect home away from home. Sleeping accommodations include 7 beds: 5 twin beds (two trundles and one full/twin bunk bed), 1 full bed (part of bunk bed) a queen sleeper couch, 1 queen bed, and 3 king beds. There are also 5 recliners. The master suite features one of the king beds and a full bathroom with a tub/shower and double sinks. There is a half bath on the main level, a full bathroom upstairs with a tub/shower, and a full bathroom with a stand-up shower in the basement.

There is a fully equipped kitchen including pots and pans, dishes, a Keurig coffee machine (bring your own K-cups), a toaster, a teapot and tea, a small selection of spices, and more. There are two living rooms. One has a sleeper sofa, a Blu-ray DVD player with tons of movies, the other has an indoor gas fireplace.

There is an outdoor campfire area (please bring your own firewood) with a total of 15 chairs, a charcoal grill (please bring your own charcoal & lighter fluid) and a gas grill with propane supplied, a Roku TV in each bedroom, and a common living area with streaming services available using the guests' accounts, a pool table, a foosball table, an air hockey table, a dart board, a ping pong table, craft/toy/board game area, a small library, working desk area, a video gaming area with PS4 council and games, a beautiful porch with wicker chairs and swing, back deck with patio table, chairs, and umbrella, plenty of space to park passenger vehicles, trailers, campers, lake and land toys or RV’s and outdoor trails to explore (6 parking spaces available.

If you plan to travel around the neighborhood you can drive, bike, use ATV or UTV, snowmobile, etc. as the property is on a 55mph road. Downtown Lyndon Station is only a 3-4 minute drive and has some restaurants, bars, a small grocery store, and a gas station.

House Rules

The following list will cause immediate eviction from the property and termination of the booking without a refund. Guest agrees to pay a $500 surcharge for every violation of the house rules:
1. Tampering with any security devices
2. Ignoring quiet hours
3. Ignoring the maximum property guest count
4. Having a party
5. Having illegal substances or underage drinking

Additional House Rules:
+ Fire pit: Be VERY careful to keep the fire contained inside the fire pit. No Large fires and please do not have a fire on a windy day. Guests must clean up the fire pit area after use.

+ Parking: There is plenty of parking for your vehicles in the main driveway. If additional parking is needed you can park past the main driveway towards the back detached garage. No more than 6 vehicles are permitted to be parked on the premises.

+ General TV usage: All TV’s are smart TV’s. They have access to various streaming apps for your use. When you turn on the TV, select your check-out date and any accounts you logged into will automatically be logged out on your check-out date. There is a BluRay player & PS4 with DVDs available for your use.

+ Gas Fireplace: Flip the switch located to the right of the fireplace up to the on position. The fan will turn on. Turn on the timer to the desired usage time. When finished using it, please flip off the switch for the fan.

+ Fireplace Room Light & Fan Usage: Flip the switch located on the wall when entering the room up to the on position. This will turn on the power. To turn the light on and off press the bottom button. To use the fan press the top button (3 dots) for high, the second button down (2 dots) for medium, and the third button down (1 dot) for slow fan speed. Turn off the light and fan when finished by using the same switch used to turn them on.

+ If you are staying at the house on Tuesday night, please roll the garbage cans to the street curb. If garbage cans are at the curb upon check-in, please bring them into the garage.

+ Early check-ins are not allowed unless prior approval is given. However, there is space in the garage to store your luggage before your check-in time.

+ If you use either the gas or charcoal grill, please clean it.

Payment Policy

Half payment is due at the time of booking, the other half is due 60 days before the booking date.

Cancellation Policy

If Guest cancels the Booking at least sixty (60) days prior to check-in, Owner will return 100% of any deposit or other payment made by Guest. If Guests cancels the Booking between thirty (30) – sixty (60) days of Booking, Owner will return 50% of any deposit or other payment made by Guest. If Guest cancels the Booking less than thirty days of the start of the Booking, Owner will not return any deposit or other payment made by Guest and Guest forfeits and waives all rights thereto.

This property is located on a secluded, wooded property. There is wildlife including bats, deer, and other animals.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $125 per stay fee will apply for each additional dog.

Up to 15 guests are included in the cost when you book with us at Bear Cove Escape.

Parking notes: There is free parking for 10 vehicles.
