We recently turned our little home away from home, The Boathouse, into a short term rental so that others could get to experience the peace and beauty of being on the waterfront in Hyde County. Policies and Rules

Check In: 3PM - Flexible

Guests will be able to self check-in using the door keypad and the door code provided by the owner.

Contact the owner in advance if early check-in or late check out is needed. Flexibility will be provided on the check-in/check-out times where possible.

Payment Policy

50% deposit is due at time of booking. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to check-in.

Cancellation Policy

To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in
If guests cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in, they will be refunded 50% for all nights. Alternatively, the owner will work with guests to transfer their reservation to another date if possible.
If they cancel less than 7 days before check-in, guests are not entitled to a refund.
Guests can also receive a full refund if they cancel within 48 hours of booking, if the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before check-in
