With room for up to 12 guests, Water Bear offers a serene escape just 5.8 miles from the Parkway, ensuring easy access to all major attractions, fishing, and hiking trails.

You are 6.3 miles from the Island, 10.4 miles from Dollywood, and 7.8 miles from the Ripken Experience. Great location in a quiet neighborhood and easy drive to the strip!

Built in 2022, Water Bear was designed for our guests to have a great time in the Smoky Mountains!

A generous, well-equipped modern kitchen is open to the living room for interaction while cooking and serving. A complimentary starter pack pack of dish soap, dish tabs, bar soaps, shampoo, laundry detergent, trash bags, and paper products provided (toilet paper, paper towels) is provided. Nearby stores offer everything you need for an extended escape.

Relax in the hot tub or enjoy the indoor 10 x 20 warmed pool (pool temp 82˚F). Pool has a dedicated bathroom! House and pool towels provided. Fire up the charcoal grill right off the porch for nightly barbecues. Kids will love the ship playhouse. The deck fireplace area is perfect for relaxing and conversation. There’s even an outdoor Roku TV.

Kids and adults alike will love the vaulted-ceiling game room. Youll have a blast with the large air hockey table, foosball table, an arcade with dozens of classic games, and Roku TV.

Kick back and watch your favorite movies in the dedicated theater with 75” Roku TV.

Paved, level parking right outside the front door can easily accommodate 4 cars and could also hold a motorcycle trailer or similar. The property is mostly flat but does not have a lawn.

- This property features exterior cameras. These devices may be recording audio and video 24/7. They do not face into living areas, pool or hot tub.

In order to rent this property:

Person with the platform account is the “Booking Guest.”
• Booking Guest must be 25 or older and submit government-issued ID to confirm age within 24 hours of making reservation (obscure your ID#)
• Booking Guest must sign and return the Cancellation Policy & Rental Agreement within 24 hours of making reservation
• Booking Guest must stay at the property for the entire reservation dates (booking for others is not allowed)
• Credit card must be in Booking Guests name
In other words, ALL these must be in the SAME NAME.

If you discover an issue, we will address in a timely way. Sometimes a detail gets overlooked or a problem arises (this is a house after all, and things do break). Location:

Water Bear is just outside of Pigeon Forge. The road and driveway are 100% paved with easy access to the house. Guests rave about how close the cabin is to town but still feels in the country. Come and enjoy the solitude!

⚠️ Winter: This is a mountain community. Winter bookings are strongly encouraged to have a 4WD/AWD, or tire chains/socks and travel insurance. If bad weather affects your travel plans you will be referred to your travel insurance for refunds.

Wildlife:

There is wildlife here! Be aware that native wildlife includes bears, snakes, raccoons, skunks as well as insects that may bite or sting. We maintain a regular pest control service, but neither they nor we can guarantee you will not encounter wildlife outside or inside. Please keep doors/windows closed as much as possible to keep them out. Definitely, do not feed the bears.

Check-Out Instructions:
Check-out time is before 10:00 a.m.
Leave beds unmade and remove all food items.
Load and start the dishwasher, and ensure that sinks are empty.
Dispose of trash in the provided bear-proof containers outside.
Close and lock all windows and doors.
Clean the grill after use.
