Newly Remodeled Silver Bear Condo
Our beautiful condo is the perfect ski condo, just steps from Canyon Lodge and the free town shuttle stop. This 1,500 square foot, top floor/two-story corner condo is the perfect place for one or two families to enjoy all that Mammoth has to offer. An easy five minute walk to Canyon Lodge and the gondola to the Village during winter (past all of the skiers parallel parking), and easy access to the bike paths during the summer. There is something for everyone!
This two story unit is on the third and fourth floor of the building with wood floors, vaulted ceilings and an open floorplan. The living room has large windows that let in lots of light and a peaceful forest view with room for the whole family to watch a movie or play games. The kitchen has been remodeled and includes everything you would need to host family gatherings and the in-unit washer and dryer make cleaning up a breeze. There are wood floors throughout the main living area and master bedroom.
It is the perfect place for two families. Three bedrooms/three bathrooms total. Two beds/baths downstairs for the adults (king bed and en-suite bath in the primary, and queen bed and large double vanity guest bathroom off the hallway). And a large 3rd bedroom bunk room for the kids upstairs with two twin-over-full bunks with their own bathroom and closet. This room is technically a loft but does not overlook the downstairs - it just doesnt have a door. See pictures for details.
Parking and unloading is a breeze! Park one car in the secure underground garage and take the elevator up to the third floor with all of your luggage. There is parking for a second car in the lot right in the front of the building. Two cars maximum. Also in the garage you will find a ski locker for your skis and snowboards.
We provide free wi-fi, smart TVs with Amazon Firesticks and local YouTube TV feeds in all the bedrooms and living room.

Getting around
The property is a quick 5 min walk (0.2 miles) to Canyon Lodge and the gondola that runs directly to The Village and an approx. 20 minute walk downhill to The Village. During the winter months, even when roads are not plowed, you can walk to ski, grab the gondola to The Village, and/or jump on the free town shuttle bus that stops out front of the condo about every 30 minutes. There is literally no need to move your car once it is parked for your stay.
During the summer/fall months the property has easy access to many bike trails (see maps and information at MammothTrails(dot)org). Park your cars (1) in the underground garage and (1) in the overflow parking and you won't have to move them again!

House Rules
When requesting to book, please acknowledge that you have read and accept our house rules.
You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay and excess cleaning fees if the property is left in poor condition (includes carpet/upholstery cleaning and odor removal if necessary). No smoking whatsoever due to extreme fire hazard - this is an indoor condo unit on upper floors with no direct outdoor access.
Charges will apply for lost or missing garage remote controls ($150 -replacement cost), TV remote controls, Firesticks ($50), and missing keys, if applicable.
Absolutely NO pets allowed due to owner allergies. Additionally there is no direct outdoor access for pets as we are on the top floor.
There is a bunk bed in the property. Guests will hold harmless owners for injury resulting from use of the bunk bed. Top bunks are appropriate for kids or small adults only and as such the maximum occupancy is limited to 6 adults.
Note that this property is on the third and fourth floor of the building and supervise children around windows appropriately (some windows are low). NOTE - Screens are not safety devices. Guests agree to hold harmless owners for injury resulting from open windows.
Use of community facilities and elevator is NOT guaranteed. Mechanical issues can, at times, affect the use of community facilities. No refunds will be given related the the availability of community amenities that are outside of the owner's control.
Outdoor plunge pool and firepit are open in the summer only. Hot tubs and gas grill are available all seasons. No refunds will be offered for malfunctions of community amenities.
Elevator is extremely dependable, however, in an emergency the unit may not be handicap accessible in an evacuation. Guests are advised to be able to use the stairway if necessary.
The unit is located near Canyon Lodge. Please check opening and closing dates with the ski resort website. Generally the lodge is open mid-December thru mid-April conditions permitting. However, skiing is usually available at Main Lodge beginning mid-November. No refunds will be given related to Canyon Lodge opening dates or walking distance to an open lodge.
****WINTER CONDITIONS: During winter storms, plows come around as often as possible. There may be times it will be impossible to use a car until plows have arrived. Guests are responsible for monitoring weather conditions and planning appropriately (including carrying chains). No refunds will be given related to winter weather conditions. This is a mountain environment and heavy snow amounts, as well as dry years should be expected. No refunds will be given if check-in is delayed due to plow schedules as this is outside the owner's control.

Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations prior to 30 days before the first day of the reservation. 50 % refund for cancellations prior to 14 days, but less than 30, days before reservation. No refunds are expressly provided due to weather, but owner will reach out to move reservations within one or two days to accommodate weather if able.
