Come enjoy this warm, relaxing mountain retreat condo nestled in Breckenridge, CO! Located only 1.5 hrs. from Denver (approximately 80 miles), this property is a great location. Walk to the slopes, ski in at the end of the day & walk to town! Never use a car during your stay.

Upon arrival you’ll feel the lure from the portico & stone exterior of Double Eagle condos, located on Four O’Clock Rd., right along the Four O’Clock Ski Run. The complex is a short walk to Snowflake Chairlift & Main St.

This inviting 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom, approximately 1,000 square foot, ground level condominium is beautifully decorated with mountain and contemporary features including wood ceiling beams, wood walls and professional decor.

There is comfortable seating (NEW sofa 2020) in the living room to allow you to just relax or enjoy your favorite movie on the flat screen SMART TV above a gas fireplace (no wood burning fireplaces in Summit County!).

The well-equipped kitchen has all the necessary appliances (including a brand new stainless steel refrigerator and stove!) and utensils (NEW 2020 pots and pans) to prepare your home cooked meals made in the comfort of your own unit. There is a dining table for six and breakfast bar for four. In the summer you can enjoy dining on the large private deck with picnic table, Adirondack chairs and cafe table. The outdoor gas BBQ grill is available year round!

The master bedroom has an elegant queen bed (mattress NEW 2020), the second bedroom also has a queen bed (mattress NEW 2020) with modern bedding and the third bedroom has two sets of custom made log bunk beds (4 twin beds!). All three bedrooms are well lit and have ceiling fans and new black out curtains for sleeping late! Both bathrooms feature granite countertops and stone tile. The master bath has large shower and the second bathroom has a private tub and toilet area which makes it easy for sharing.

Additional features include wireless high speed internet, cable TV, private ski locker, on-site outdoor hot tub, basketball hoop, on-site coin operated laundry facility, on-site parking and access to the New Upper Village Pool Complex (2 blocks away) which provides an indoor and outdoor heated pool, changing rooms, indoor and outdoor hot tubs and a relaxing pool deck with chaise lounge chairs.

This unit is owner managed and very family friendly (we have toys and games in the unit!). We do not use a management company and can therefore offer flexibly and a friendly home-like accommodation.

Absolutely no smoking in the condo. No pets allowed.

Our condo is on Four O’Clock Rd and is a 5 min walk to the Snowflake chair lift and easy 5 min walk to town.

Our condo is on the free Breckenridge bus route and has Summit County connections to Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Copper Mountain. Also, we are 40 minutes to Vail, 30 minutes to Loveland, 1 hour to Winter Park, and 2 hours to Steamboat.

We had a fantastic stay at Leane’s condo for my fiancé’s birthday weekend. The home was nicely appointed, clean upon arrival, and had everything we needed during our stay. The location was perfect: it was very easy to walk to the Snowflake chairlift (maybe not for very young children) and skiing back into the condo right from the 4 O’clock trail was perfect. The best part was using the complex’s jacuzzi after a day on the slopes. Our trip was during covid so we expected restrictions and difficulty reserving the jacuzzi but we had no issues at all which was a pleasant surprise - some complexes do not have their jacuzzis open at all but that is not the case here. Great trip- highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the place... location, well-stocked kitchen, bbq, deck, and kids’ books and games. Some details worth knowing so they aren’t a surprise: the laundry facilities are outside up the stairs (and bring lots of quarters), the pool was only open Thursday-Sunday and you need to book well in advance online to get a slot, and we had lot of noise from the condo above when people were there (fortunately they left at the end of the weekend so the weekdays were nice and quiet).

The laundry in the building (one floor up) does accept credit cards as well as quarters. The summer weather draws more people outside to the balconies where noise carries easier especially when we have our windows open; sound from other units generally does not reach our condo. Super functional layout and comfortable space. This unit is on the first floor which is so convenient! The furnishings are nice and tastefully decorated. Our daughter loved the bunk room! You really do not need a car once you’re there. We walked to the grocery and post office several times and just took a small backpack with us. There is an awesome hiking trail right behind the building and a creek. We did morning yoga on the bridge out back, and then hot/cold therapy in the hot tub & creek. It was amazing and so nice to have right outside the condo. I can see how this unit is premium for ski season. We were there in July, but for those coming to ski this local would be perfect too. Leane is a wonderful owner and made the process seamless for us!

The good: amazing location, close to the slopes and city center. The ski in is fantastic. Also the fact that there is no steps to climb is a major plus. Leane has been very responsive to all our messages/request and the place was clean when we got there. The bad: the appartement desperately need new appliances and furnitures. Some closets don’t close, the beds and couch/sofas are really old and the dishwasher and cooking stoves are really not up to today’s standards. Also, the fireplace is gaz not wood which is not really nice.

Response:Thank you for taking the time to review my property. I am distressed by your poor rating. I've never received anything less than 5 stars. We take all feedback very seriously. I’m glad you enjoyed the location and I am sorry to hear some of the interior and furnishings weren’t to your satisfaction. The photos of our space were professionally taken last summer (2018) and are 100% reflective of the space. Our appliances were purchased less than 5 years ago and are all I working order. You did not mention any mechanical issues during your stay and I have since used them myself without any problems. We enjoy eating a full breakfast in the condo before our day on the mountain and often make dinner rather than taking our children to dinner. Our kitchen has all necessary culinary tools and dishes and is designed for a 3 bedroom ski condo with apartment size appliances. The space can not accommodate large high end appliances. Many single family homes in Breckenridge do, and prices are reflective of those features. We make upgrades and replacements on an annual basis. Much of the furniture was purchased last year. The bunk beds were custom made with new mattresses less than 5 years ago. Our queen beds have memory foam mattress toppers and brand new duvet covers. I am not able to identify what closet door is not closing. They are all in working order. Again, you did not mention an issue during your stay. A wood burning fireplace does sound lovely, but forest fires are a real danger in Colorado and in much of the western USA. An open wood burning fire is an environmental nightmare and downright irresponsible. Summit County has fire restrictions due to forest fire prevention that do not allow for wood burning fireplaces. We love to sit by our gas fireplace at the end of the ski day! It’s easy to use and enjoy!

Great location and space! Close to down town and the ski-in ability was great! Enjoyed the amenities, such as the hot tub, as well! Everything was clean and as advertised. We had 8 guys in our group and we had plenty of space. Highly recommend!

Great space for two families visiting Breck. Location was great for ski off and good for ski on (I drove the little ones up the hill and then re-parked and walked the short walk up the hill). The kids loved the bunk room and games. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple meals. We watched Bob Ross on Netflix on the living room tv with the kids every night before bed and learned that there are no mistakes, only happy accidents. All in all we had a great trip and were very happy where we stayed. We are looking forward to returning.
