Villa Andalucia is unique being the only bed and breakfast within the village of Competa to have a beautiful private swimming pool surrounded by a gorgeous garden.

We are only a ten-minute walk from the main square which is right in the centre of this beautiful and lively village with its abundance of bars and restaurants - there are 24 in total.

We can sleep up to 10 guests at a time in our four ensuite rooms, which are all uniquely designed. All of our rooms have fridges and drink making facilities and two of the rooms have a kitchenette giving you the change to cater for yourself.

Breakfast is an additional charge giving you the choice of taking it or not. (For something special why not try our Champagne Breakfast?)

We can arrange for you to have the use of a small barbecue, either gas or charcoal for you to cook with outside your room.

Day trips and other activities can also be arranged giving you the chance to explore this historic and breath-taking area of Spain.

“A little piece of heaven”

We’ve been coming to Villa Andalucía for the last 14 years and it really is an idyllic haven. The villa is nestled high in the mountains which ensures you have spectacular views of the valley all the way down to the coast. Villa Andalucia is a restful place- a place for total relaxation . Helen is a wonderful host who does everything she can to ensure you have the perfect stay. Her breakfasts come highly recommended ! The rooms at Villa Andalucia are individually designed to a very high standard and a dip in the pool is wonderful after a day bathing in the Andalucian sun. Local restaurants and bars are a short walk to the village and a visit to the local church in the square is a must. Just go there- it’s wonderful ! X xx

My friend and I were in Spain for language classes. Classes ended Friday but our flights home were not until Monday. We decided to check out another area that interested me near Nerja (yet NOT in Nerja.). We stumbled on Helen’s place and thought it looked great! We were very happy there. The views are magnificent, the Pueblo is so cute and friendly. We ate breakfast outside, swam in the gorgeous pool and enjoyed the weekend of hospitality. Would defiantly stay here again!! And if you do, I hope you get to meet Auntie Pauline. She is a funny one! Loved everything. Don’t hesitate to book.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Andalucia which is situated in a beautiful spot high up in the village. From there you have fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. We were very comfortable in our room and such comfortable beds. It is a place where you can spend the whole day relaxing by the pool. We made several walks in the mountains and the path just starts near the house. Helen is very hospitable and can organize whatever you need. We enjoyed a welcome Platter, I had my nails done and she even arranged for a chef to come and cook us a delicious meal. Competa is a lovely village to visit and there is a great atmosphere. Helen's place is heaven on earth. Just perfect, lovely and very clean! I picked the place just randomly but what a luck we had!! Nothing more then a warm and welcome stay. Reina, my dog, never ever leaves my side until these days. She felt safe and jumped happy around! It was very clear that we both love this place. Thank you for everything Helen!
