You might enjoy snow in the winter, flowers in the spring/summer, and amazing colors in the fall. Watch for wildlife like turkeys, foxes, horses, bears, deer and definitely lots of birds and squirrels.

Asheville has around 40 breweries such as French Broad, Wicked Weed, New Belgium, Highland, Hillman, Burial, and Asheville Brewing Company. Get outside for some great hiking, biking, kayaking. Check out the Biltmore House, Grove Park, River Arts District, NC Arboretum. The home is 10-15 min to almost everything in Asheville.

If you love wine, take the short trip to Hendersonville for some of the best award winning wines like Point Lookout, Stone Ashe, St Paul and more. In the late summer don’t forget to pick apples at the local apple orchards.

Head to Mills River for Sierra Nevada, Burning Blush, Bold Rock and Mills River Brewing, then continue onto Brevard for great hiking and waterfalls like Looking Glass, Triple Falls, Bridal Veil and on a hot summer day brave the Sliding Rock. Of course, Brevard is home of Ecusta Brewing and Oscar Blues.

Or go the other direction to climb to the top of Chimney Rock, hike the Hickory Nut Falls Trail and have dinner at Burntshirt. PS My favorite wine there is Sunset Sippin.

Suggested List to bring:
Bug Spray/Sun Screen
Hiking shoes if you are into that.
We have warm days and cools nights sometimes so jeans/light jacket and shorts/t-shirt are great add ins. Layers for the winter. We do provide weekly and monthly stay discounts.

This house is a perfect place to stay to explore Asheville. It is private but close to Asheville (~12 mins) and there are markets and local businesses very close by. They are super responsive and the house was great for us. (2 adults/3 ‘big kids’= teens + 1 dog). Highly recommend. This was our first trip to Asheville.

Michael and Kerrie’s place was warm and inviting. We loved the personalized welcome note and goodies left for us upon arrival. Communication was excellent, and their place was super clean. We tried a couple of places that Michael and Kerrie recommended and we are so glad we did. We highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.

Michael and Kerrie’s place was a perfect stay. My group of 5 was traveling for our annual Friendsgiving trip. We needed to find a place where we could have a nice cozy meal one evening but still be close enough to the city to Uber/Lyft downtown. I searched hundreds of AirBnbs in the area, but Michael and Kerrie’s house had everything we were looking for. When we arrived at the Airbnb, the house exceeded my already high expectations. There was plenty of space for everyone and the shared spaces were so wonderful. There was plenty of seating the living room as well as a nice dinner table for our home cooked meal and board games afterwards. The outside area is just as nice giving the option of a propane fire pit for colder days or a screened porch for hot summer days. Finding a Lyft to and from downtown was easy, and the house is located only 1 minute from an Ingles grocery store! Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend staying here if you are visiting Asheville!

We are 5 friends traveling to our annual gathering and couldn’t have asked for anything more from our stay at Kerrie and Michael’s home. It was immaculately clean, had plenty of places to gather and enjoy each others’ company (as well as privacy when needed), and was within driving distance of the city and its many local attractions. Kerrie and Michael were very responsive and helped ensure we had everything needed to enjoy a great vacation. We highly recommend this home for a group of friends or family members staying in Asheville! Thank you.

Michael and Kerrie's house was perfect for our extended family of nine in town for a wedding weekend. The master bedroom with its own bath was on the other side of the house, which was an added bonus for privacy and noise control. We all enjoyed sitting on the porch and grilling on the deck, and the kitchen worked well for making breakfast in the morning. Any minor concern we had was addressed immediately (and rectified, like bringing us more Kleenex!). It was a beautiful weekend!

Michael and Kerrie’s place was a wonderful landing place for our weekend wedding. We loved the free breakfast/snacks and the bottle of wine. All the beds were comfy and had such homey touches. Everything was clean with plenty of thought into how to make the place super cozy. We couldn’t have picked a better spot! They were also such lovely hosts. Highly recommend this spot!

Our stay at Michael and Kerrie's was exactly as advertised. The house was great, the mountain views were beautiful, the location was convenient, and the communication was fantastic. They went above and beyond by providing a few snacks and beverages with a handwritten note to make us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. My family and I had a great stay and look forward coming back!

Their place was spotless when we walked in. The welcome note with dog treats and wine was a nice touch.. we had plenty of room for us and our corgi kids. Great screened in front porch that we used alot. On top of a hill it was a nice quiet house. And had good lighting everywhere, the porch and the deck out back. Our bedrooms were super comfortable. Very easy to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway and to Asheville itself.. would've liked to be able to get the news stations on the TV instead of Netflix.. and be able to watch MLB games. Kerry was in touch with any questions we had and even stopped to help us figure out the remotes for the TV. We had a great stay at their house.
