Large living room and open kitchen, with an island that is great for cooking and entertaining. A beautiful restored Wedgewood stove is the centerpiece of the kitchen. There is an old oak pub table, with a unique mica hanging lamp, in the dining area that can extend for seating up to six people (vintage folding chairs available).
Upstairs master bedroom has en suite 1/2 bath, Casper bed, and reading area with a claw foot oak reclining Morris chair. The other bedroom is larger, but is open to the stairwell, so not quite the privacy of the master.
Downstairs bath has a claw foot tub with shower and mosaic tile floor.
Coffee beans and a grinder provided. We have a French press and 4 cup coffee maker also.
Gas BBQ on the deck.
200 Mbs WiFi.
No frilly curtains, kitsch or tchotchkes… just classic cabin!
As noted in our house rules, pet owners are not allowed to instant book. $50 pet fee per week or portion thereof.
This is a 1938 vintage cabin. We do everything we can to make it comfortable AND authentic, but please don’t expect Herman Miller like dining seating, or hermetically sealed windows. There may be squeaky wood floors and clickety door knobs… but we do promise a unique experience.
Please note, we now follow the CDC guidelines for disinfection of all surfaces.

Policies and Rules
No street parking. There is room for two cars in the driveway.
5 guests allowed if one would like to sleep on the couch.
Pet owners are not allowed to instant book. $50 pet fee per booking. $60 for two small dogs.
One small, well behaved dog is allowed (preferably short hair or hypo-allergenic), subject to approval, although they are not welcome on the furniture or bedding. Please bring their dog bed, and a large blanket to put over the leather couch just in case (it scratches easily). No pets allowed in the cabin, or on the back deck, while you are not there (most restaurants allow dogs on their patio). Also please have their nails groomed if they are long—lots of wood floors! Pets may not be allowed during peak holiday dates, especially winter, as rain and snow make it hard on our wood floors (no mud room). Please bring an old towel to wipe their paws before entering the cabin.
No cats please. We have had issues with people having allergic reactions from a previous guest’s cat.
Please don't make the beds when you leave. Most of you are such good guests that we cannot tell if the bed has been slept in!
Please do not let your toddler walk downstairs in the winter with bare feet. There is a heating grate on the floor next to the stairs that can get very hot.
For stays longer than one week, we supply 2 bags per week of pellets. Additional pellets can be bought at either hardware store for $7/bag. We supply one mason jar of coffee beans.
No filming or other commercial endeavors.
No smoking.
No parties or events.
