Cozy Beautiful House
Just like in the pictures or better in person. The house is very cozy. The house is kept really neat with all the basic necessities you’ll need. It was exactly what we were looking for. We were 4 adults and we had two toddlers with us and it was toddler friendly and spacious enough for them to run around. The only suggestion we would have would be to add a baby gate on the top of the stairs since the kids room is upstairs. We brought along baby monitors so we were able to make sure we were there before the little ones made their way down the stairs. Matt is just a text or phone call away. He was very attentive and answered immediately to any questions we had. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Peaceful Home for the Holidays
Traveling home for the holidays to visit family was often stressful for me but this house gave me a peaceful break from “family fun”. The wall of windows makes you feel like you’re in a snow globe!

Like camping from a luxurious home
This house is fantastic! Matt, has gone out of his way to make sure the experience here delivers above and beyond on all fronts.
The property is spacious and secluded with a large circular driveway that would be easily capable of accommodating two or three trucks with trailers attached. The fireplace is large and well stocked with pre cut wood, and there is no shortage of additional wood in the surrounding area. There is an outdoor shower (looked nice, but we did not use it), outdoor lighting in multiple areas, and outdoor seating including an air-chair and a hammock. The deck wraps around three sides of the house and has speakers that are attached to the indoor stereo system (can be switched on and off) so that you can enjoy your music outside and in without needing to blast the volume. The grill was a bit dirty when we arrived and one of the three cook grates fell in because its support had rusted away. The hot tub was clean and comfortable, and the entire outdoor area was free of any mess.
The inside of the house was equally pleasant. Every room was large enough to never feel crowded even with up to 8 people in the common areas. The sound system in the main living room sounded great at any volume which allowed us to quietly play jazz in the morning, and blast party tunes in the afternoon. There are large tvs in the living room and downstairs game room, and well sized smart tvs in each of the three bedrooms, there are even small tvs in two of the three bathrooms! The kitchen is very clean and modern and included lots of unexpected tools that made our stay easier. We did struggle to put away the food we brought as every cabinet already had something in it, but what didn't fit in the extra large refrigerator we found space for on the counter tops. I would suggest to Matt to invest in some dimmer switches as we did feel like the lighting was often too bright, and there are not many lamps as alternatives.
The downstairs has a great game room and pool table, but I would recommend you bring your own cue if you can because the provided ones were all damaged. The other side of the downstairs is setup as a large mudroom which is very handy if you are spending your time outside.
Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay here very much. We slept well in the comfortable beds which all had super fluffy soft blankets. I would certainly recommend this property, and will definitely consider it for my next vacation in this area.

Great place and location!
My family and I spent a few nights in this beautiful house in the woods. We lost my mom recently to cancer and wanted to spend time away together. The property is secluded amongst the trees.. The house is immaculate and very roomy! We cooked every meal each day and there was plenty of kitchen supplies, spices, convenience. Outdoor grill, nice deck and great hot tub! The tv outside was a treat! The bedrooms are very spacious .. just a lovely place and getaway.. Check in and out was easy.. Matt was very responsive and available for any questions/concerns we had. Would love to come back! Thank you!

Tranquility in the woods
I cannot express enough how beautiful this home is. You can tell that Matt poured his heart into building this home. The kitchen was very well stocked from pots and pans to all the spices you could need. We loved the open floor plan on the first floor with the beautiful large windows overlooking the rear deck, hot tub and woods. The living space is very comfortable with plenty of seating and the master bedroom had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! This home is tucked back into the woods but close enough to roads for easy travel. We especially loved the hot tub and fire pit with the bistro lights surrounding the property. The easy access to the trails behind the house was an added bonus! We thoroughly enjoyed hiking and exploring the trails to see some amazing views. We hoped we could rent an ATV in the area to also explore the trails but could not find any rentals. If you have an ATV you will love the trails out back. We do have snow shoes so maybe a return trip in the winter is in our near future! We also enjoyed exploring the areas all within an hour drive of this home. We were able to visit Knoebels amusement park, Crystal Caves, Yuengling Brewery tour and Turkey Hill Brewery which I must say was our favorite and had excellent brews and food! We regret that we never made it to the mine tours which we will have to do next time! We also stopped at Kowalonek’s kielbasa shop which is only about 15 minutes from the house and had delicious smoked kielbasa and spiced bacon. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini vacation at this home which allowed us to decompress, take in some fresh air, have some laughs and just spend some quality time with family. Thank you again Matt for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Fun Family Getaway
We had a wonderful visit! The home is beautiful, with so much natural light and beautiful views. There’s plenty to do without venturing far off the property - the hot tub, fire pit, pool table, darts, and excellent TV/audio combo made our stay so much fun. We were able to cook great meals indoors, as well. Highly recommend a visit!

Relaxing getaway!
Beautiful, upgraded home with all that you could need for a relaxing weekend. The backyard and hot tub are an added plus! Quiet area with lots of great hikes. Would definitely recommend for a weekend in!
