Please be mindful we are located in a Tropical area and protect yourself from insects that may be invisible from dusk to dawn. Servicing - The Apartment will not be serviced during your stay and we will observe your privacy. Bathroom and Kitchen - A basic supply is provided. Top up amenities available from the local Supermarkets Coles and IGA Getting Around - We are located one hour drive from Cairns and 5 minutes drive from Port Douglas Town. Hire Car recommended or regular shuttle buses run from Cairns and around Port Douglas. Why not hire a bike or scooter to get around? Holidays in Port Douglas provide the opportunity to discover the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park. Spectacular Mossman Gorge is located only a 20 min drive away. Crocodile spotting on the Daintree River is popular and exhilarating and day trips to Cape Tribulation area also possible. The hinterland is packed full of food and waterfall trails. Did we mention the amazing places along Macrossan St and surrounds to eat in Port Douglas? If you are visiting on the weekend don't miss the Mossman Market on Saturdays and PD Market on Sundays. A trip to the Reef can be arranged from PD or Cairns. Head further afield to Cairns to visit the famous Hartley Crocodile Farm, Kuranda Village, Rail & Skyrail. -ask us for details.
