Are you in need of temporary housing while you work in/relocate to the Hartselle/Danville/Decatur area?

Or perhaps you and your extended family are in town for a reunion/wedding...whatever the reason, we have over 5000 square foot of space!

You will fall in love with the charm and luxury details of this place. The oversized kitchen has floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for lots of light with a sprawling view of the lovely outdoor area.

We also provide a low-toxin, sustainable environment.

The theater room upstairs includes a 65-inch HDTV and leather reclining sectional that seats 8.

For sleeping, the house offers 4 separate bedrooms, 3 with ensuite bathrooms. On the main floor you will find the ocean wave retreat with 2-person jetted tub and spa shower.

On the 2nd level are two huge master suites, the Serenity suite with king & twin beds; and the Starlight suite with 2 queens. There is a smaller children's room with 2 twin beds.

The sprawling back patio and porch are a dream-come- true for enjoying all the sunny days here in Alabama. Bring your meal outdoors or light up our charcoal grill!

Everyone will love the peace and tranquility that can be experienced under the shade trees while reclining on our zero-gravity chairs. At night, you will have patio lighting for just the right level of glow.

Feel a chill in the air? Throw some logs in the fire pit and relax in the Adirondack chairs. Wouldn't it be nice to roast some marshmallows with the kids?

Check out our new game room/family room, complete with foosball table, dartboard & card table. We provide a variety of board/card games!

The entire space is yours. However, we do not furnish the dining room. There is plenty of seating in the oversized kitchen, family/game room and large back patio. We also keep two small rooms, the basement and attic locked for supplies and storage. The garage is not offered for parking, but there is plenty of space in our driveway for multiple vehicles.

You will also have access to a storm shelter, just in case.

Green Lodging Solutions, LLC is a small family business that dedicates itself to providing clean, comfortable and unique lodging options in North Alabama. We specialize in catering to the needs of families in need of temporary housing, especially those with a passion for eco-friendly and clean living practices.

We have been managing long and short-term rentals for well over a decade now, and have relocated our family several times during that time. This lifestyle has given us a wealth of experience in providing families in transition the environment they need to thrive.

We currently offer lodging options in Hartselle, Decatur and Huntsville. The Wandering Inn in Hartselle can be rented in five different ways: the starlight suite on the 2nd level, the serenity suite on the 2nd level, the entire 2nd level combining both suites, the entire 1st level (ocean waves retreat) or the entire house. The house is located in a rural area 4 miles from retail. It includes 1.7 acres and a large back patio.

The Passport Inn located in Southwest Decatur has a multicultural theme and contains four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Hidden Gate Inn located in South Huntsville is a studio apartment located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, very near retail.

You will know you have arrived if you see 3 mailboxes at the end of a semi-circle driveway & a large red brick home with 4 grand white pillars, 2 large yellow flower pots & a small red patio set.

Front entrance
There is a digital wireless lock on all three exterior doors (front, garage, back). The code will be the last four digits of your phone number.

If you enter the front door, you will find the Ocean Waves Retreat through the first door on your left. The permanent code to that door is 4867. If you like, you may leave your suite door unlocked by turning the lock on the inside.

*Watch your step when entering through the garage as the 2nd door has a step down.

You will then enter the house through the door at the top of the brick steps. The code for that door is 4878. The code for the two upstairs rooms labeled Serenity is 4900. The code for the two rooms labeled Starlight is 4911. Feel free to leave them unlocked by turning the lever on the other side.

The last four digits of your phone number will also open this door, which goes into the kitchen.

We have a zero tolerance policy for indoor smoking of any kind.

The cleaning fee is used to get the house back to the condition it was found in; however, this does not take into account extreme circumstances such as excessive trash, extra messes, furniture that has been moved, etc. In that case, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee.
