Prior to your stay I prefer to communicate via the app, but during your stay I prefer to communicate via text, so I ensure I get your messages in a very timely manner.

Sometimes I'm up for a chat and at other times I need to focus on just decompress alone, but I'm good at reading the room and appreciate when my guests do too! :)

I'm always mindful of your peace, privacy & comfort while still going about my day-to-day life at home and it's a fairly quiet house most of the time. I work around your schedule to the best of my ability, but if you require "silence" during times outside of the standard posted quiet hours (currently 12a-8a), please submit an inquiry prior to booking so we can discuss your needs to make sure this is the right fit!
Naomi, my German Shepherd, lives here & is called "such a great dog," by guests.
Her resume:
- Zero accidents in the house, ever
- Great manners - doesn't jump, loving, but not pushy, barking is very infrequent & she only goes in guest rooms when they're empty to look out of the windows from time to time
- Obedient - Responds to firm, clear, friendly voice & hand commands (sit, down, wait, out, no)
- Has hair. I do clean every..single..day, change filters & purify the air, but if you are allergic, you may be more comfortable somewhere without a Naomi
BONUS perks for Returning and Long-Term (2+ week) guests:
- Late check-out (11am)
- Complimentary night for spouse visit for long term stays (one weekend night, must be arranged prior to check-in)

Policies and Rules
Please provide me with an ETA as soon as you're able to (even a rough estimate is fine). While I love hosting, I try to grab small opportunities between guests to enjoy the rare moment of privacy. Please shoot me a text to let me know you've arrived before heading inside.
To Unlock Outside:
1. Enter the last four digits of your phone number
2. Press the "shield/checkmark" button
To Lock from Outside:
1. Press and hold "shield/checkmark" button
Note: This keyless entry will automatically lock 3 minutes after being unlocked, from both inside and out.
If you have any issues at all, just contact me and I have full remote access to the lock from my phone.
- Make a reasonable effort to be respectful of other guest, especially during their time of rest.
- Be conservative with utilities. (i.e. turn lights, water, TV, fan, etc., off when not in use) Do not allow shower/bath to run while you are using the toilet. The home has a commercial water heater and heats up very quick so lengthy “preheating” is not necessary. The bathroom fan does work.
- No visitors are permitted without coming to me first.
- NO SMOKING on the property or vehicles in front of the property. This is a new rule, as issues involving smoking frequently arise. Disposable Nicotine vapes are fine indoors or out.
- Please tidy/wipe up after utilizing shared spaces/amenities.n (I.e. wipe kitchen counter of crumbs)
- Do not hang wet items/towels anywhere except the designated towel hook located in your room or the towel bars in the guest bathroom.
- Do not use household items other than for their intended use. If there is something you need, i am here to ensure you have what you need, so please communicate with me. (i.e. washcloth to stop tub instead of tub stopper).
- Do not hang items from curtain rods, nails on walls, etc. If you need storage solutions I'm here to help.
- Please immediately notify me of any incident, including, but not limited to, large spills/damages/problems with appliances/amenities/and accidents, etc. so that I may address them at once to prevent further damage.
- Please don’t feed the dog, anything. Please leave the treats up to me and give her all the gentle pats you like! She forgets her kitchen manners when people feed her. (You will be asked for a password in the confirmation message you receive. The password to give me is "Lucy."
- I have a Fenugreek allergy, even when it's in the air, which means most curry is off-limits, as far as reheating & cooking goes (it's fine to eat it in the house, but reheating/cooking disperses it into the air). Please wash hands to ensure no transfer.
For cancellations less than 14, but more than 5 days prior to check-in, a nightly credit will be issued for 50% of the original booking for future stays, with a limit of 6 credit nights. A maximum of 2 credit nights may be used per month unless otherwise agreed upon by host.
