When booking a stay at our vacation rental, a security deposit of $200 USD is required. This deposit serves as a safeguard for any potential damages, excessive cleaning costs, or other incidentals that may occur during your stay. It ensures that our property remains in excellent condition for all guests and helps cover any unexpected costs that might arise from misuse or accidents.

**Collection and Return of Deposit**

The security deposit will be collected at the time of booking. We will hold this amount securely until your stay concludes. Following your checkout, our team will conduct a thorough inspection of the property. Provided there are no damages or extra cleaning required, the full security deposit will be refunded to you.

**Inspection and Refund Timeline**

Our team will inspect the property within a few days after your departure. If the property is in the same condition as it was upon your arrival, the full security deposit will be processed for refund. The refund will be initiated within 14 days after your checkout. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your financial institution.

**Conditions for Withholding the Deposit**

In the unlikely event that damages or additional cleaning are necessary, we will document the issues and provide a detailed breakdown of any costs incurred. The relevant amount will be deducted from the security deposit, and the remaining balance, if any, will be returned to you within the same 14-day period.

**Communication and Transparency**

We believe in maintaining clear and transparent communication with our guests. Should any issues arise that require a portion of the deposit to be withheld, we will notify you promptly and provide all necessary documentation and receipts.
