The extraction fan in the kitchen is a health hazard!!! The garden pictured is nothing like it really is. The chairs were covered in green mould and bird poo and the table was not fitted together and was filthy. We had to clean four chairs and the table and sweep the patio. There was no BBQ and no loungers. The house was lovely but the outside let it down

lovely property and location easy to get too sights everything you need in property except a few things the owners might need to consider for example garden relaxers and fire pit were not there as described no washing line or airer when you have used washing machine there were no bags left out for recycling households around had colour coded bags the three seater sofa is quite low and really played havoc with three of us that already suffer with bad backs and recommend mattresses with a bit more spring to them also recommend a table protector of some sort for the lovely polished dining table to protect from spillages and scratches we would return to this property and recommend to others but worried about the table constantly with our grandchild

Wonderful modern house with a lovely garden in a great location. Extremely well equipped in every way, especially if you bring a dog. We were there with my daughter and two grandchildren aged two and six months and the house was perfect for all of us.

The house was comfortable , well equipped and met our needs in a last minute crisis as we had had to leave our previous accommodation unexpectedly due to the water supply failing completely! Bev at Vay-Cays was very helpful and we were very pleased to be able to move there with an early check-in. The kitchen is well equipped but every cupboard is stuffed full, partly with out of date food. While there is a washing machine we could not find a washing line or anywhere to hang the clothes to dry.

Lovely home, we had a comfortable stay and enjoyed our time until we received an email from Vay-Cays claiming £1,210 for damages- without firm evidence that it happened during our stay! The damages claimed are clearly visible in the pictures on the listing itself!! Very cheeky of Vay-Cays trying to make us pay for already worn out furniture!! Would recommend guests to be cautious of Vay-Cays trying to scam this way and watch out for the neighbours keeping an eye on you! I've never had to deal with anything like this in 6 years of using Airbnb. Very very disappointed with Vay-Cays as it's such a nice property and this really ruined our holiday!

Response:Lisa, You took indoor wooden furniture out to the garden and left it out in the rain for the entire length of your stay despite there being ample outside seating. You are correct the chairs did have marks but not water damage. Just because they have a few age related marks does not mean you should disrespect them and damage them further. You were given a bill to repair the damage you caused. We outsource all our maintenance issues to skilled tradesman, and do not own this property, meaning as a company there is no gain to us from you damaging items. It actually cost us by way of time to deal with this kind of issue. We also provided a quote to replace the items giving you an option. Your reply was prove it. As a letting agent with over 50 properties in this local area alone, our feedback and reviews prove that we do not scam people. We do expect guests to respect our properties so they are nice for future guests to enjoy. Little accidents do sometimes happen, and as any of our guests that have had such incident will confirm, we are more than fair and understanding when they do, however when a guest shows a complete lack of respect for the property and as a result of that lack of respect damage is caused we will bill that guest for the damage.

This is a beautiful and spacious home, perfect for seven adults and a baby. The two bathrooms are a great asset! Big kitchen, good dining space and comfortable sofas. We arrived early in poor weather and the hosts very kindly let us check in early as there had been no one staying at the property previous night. The house is beautifully located for the North Cornish coast from Port Isaac to the beaches around Padstow. Wadebridge is a lovely Cornish town, close by with everything you may need. We loved our stay! We hope to stay again in the future and would recommend this lovely property for a relaxing stay in Cornwall.
