Nestled in a wooded inlet, the cabin is large enough for your group gatherings! Enjoy swimming, relaxing in the hot tub, playing yard games, or just soaking up the beauty of the wooded country from the large wrap-around porch. Perfect for families or reunions!



Just ten minutes from world famous First Monday Trade days, this home has 6 bedrooms and four baths, a beautiful great room, gourmet kitchen, and spacious dining room. The resort pool in the back yard also has a hot tub for your enjoyment.



The property is perfect for your East Texas getaway, First Monday shopping spree, ladies' retreat, family reunion, corporate retreat, or private party. The house sleeps up to 23 in beds, with more space for roll-aways.



We can customize the arrangement of your sleeping spaces to suit your group's individual needs! In the descriptions below, the permanent beds are listed and the available portable beds are in parentheses.



Downstairs Rooms sleep:

King Suite 1 - 2+ (King bed plus 2 on pull-out sofa)

Queen Suite 1 - 2

Queen Suite 2 - 2



Upstairs Rooms sleep:

King Suite 2 - 5 (2 on king bed, 2 on queen window bed, 1 in twin loft bed accessible by ladder)

King Suite 3 - 5 (2 on king bed, 2 on queen window bed, 1 in twin loft bed accessible by ladder

Bunk Room - 5 (4 on twin over twin bunks, 1 on futon)



The Great Room is a wonderful space to gather and chat, or play games or poker on the game table. There is also a checker/chess table in the Great Room, and a third game table for board game fun. There is an armoire that holds a great selection of board games and card games, as well as pool towels for your use.



KITCHEN:

The warm kitchen and dining room space flow together in a wonderful gathering space. The expansive cedar dining table can seat 16 on the family benches surrounding it. There are 7 barstools at the breakfast bar for dining overflow or space for the kids to enjoy breakfast or meals.



LAUNDRY:

There is a laundry room for your use, and detergent and dryer sheets are provided as well as stain remover and a selection of cleaning supplies should you need them. An iron and ironing board are also in the laundry room.



POOL/YARD

The outdoor space begs you to come out and play! The resort pool is wonderful on a hot summer day. Although the pool is not heated, the hot tub is available for use year-round! There is a great selection of outdoor yard games like Cornhole, Giant Jenga, and Ping Pong.



POND

There is a pond on the property, and cattle that enjoy that space. You are free to wet a hook, but please be CERTAIN to close the gate and latch the chain if you go to the pond.



Guest Access:



Guest parking is to the right side yard, the circle drive, and the concrete garage approach.

Host parking is to the left side lane toward the back of the house. Please do not block.



Guests may access the main house, with access through the front door, not the garage.



There is no garage access, and there is no access to the workshop in the pool building, as these spaces are used for storage and equipment.



Guests may access the back yard south side yard, and pool area. Beyond the north privacy fence is the property host area. We ask that guests not access the north side of the property beyond the privacy fence. Host, if present, will give guests complete privacy, but will be available in case of question or emergency.



Guests may have access to the pond, but watch for our country critters that say ssssssssss----< - there are cattle that have access to the pond area, so if you access it, it is imperative that you close and fasten the gate.



Interaction with Guests:



Host may be available, based on scheduling. There is a private RV/camping area to the north of the house.

There is a single small cabin attached to the main house through the garage. The host lives in that apartment. They have NO access to the guest portion of the house during guest stays. Their porch space is gated off from the guest area. For this reason, please do not park in the lane next to the concrete garage approach (lane is marked), as this is the lane to the back of the host cabin, as well as host camping area.If the host is unavailable in person, they will be available by phone, and a co-host will be assigned for emergency needs. Host and co-host will give guest complete privacy.
