Adam and I grew up in Oklahoma, met at OU and moved to Fort Worth, TX after we married. We have 3 amazing kids ages 9-14 & have always dreamed of owning a cabin in the woods of SE OK where I grew up. We wanted a place to escape & connect as a family, especially during the teen years when we need a strong family connection more than ever.

When we stumbled across Carlton Landing & then The Lodge, it felt like home. It's the "cabin" we always wanted, but in the middle of the most family-friendly community that offers all we need to spend quality time with our kids.

Family's that play and laugh together STAY together, so we've stocked The Lodge with all you'll need to have fun at home and around CL. There's always more tasks to complete- I love that CL helps me remember that people matter most. Our time at Carlton Landing has blessed our family more than we ever imagined and we hope it does the same for yours!

As a guest to Carlton Landing, we know this will be a special place for you and your family. Growing up not far from Carlton Landing, we made lasting memories on the shores of Lake Eufaula. This lake and these woods are a treasure for our family. Now, with Carlton Landing, we’re glad to be able to share it with you!

The idea of Carlton Landing was birthed from a realization that our society needs a good escape option. Our world is moving faster than ever these days and time is our most precious resource. In the process of ‘trying to keep up’, it’s easy to lose track of the most important things in life - things like rest, recreation and special time with kids, grandkids & friends.

The small joys of enjoying a good book on a covered porch on a rainy morning, going for a walk in the late afternoon, growing your own food, or having long dinners with good friends are sometimes lost in the shuffle. When you stop to think about it, these are the things that mean the most and make for a memorable life.

Sometimes, we need a place to go away and find the life we dream of. A place to reconnect with our family. To reconnect with our friends. A place to reconnect with nature and with the peaceful presence of our Creator through His creation. A place to be restored and renewed. A place to build lasting memories and have the option of enjoying a life of simplicity.

The Lodge on Twinkle Lane is a luxury lodge in Carlton Landing. We specialize in providing families and

Policies and Rules

Check In: 4PM - Flexible

Term of the Agreement. The lease begins at 4:00 p.m. on the date agreed to on Houfy and referenced on the Booking Confirmation (the “Check-in Date”) and ends at 11:00 a.m. on the date agreed to on Houfy and referenced on the Booking Confirmation (the “Checkout Date”). Late departures could result in your being charged for another day’s stay or a minimum fine of $100. No refunds will be given for early departures for any reason. Guests are subject to expedited eviction if Guest (1) holds over the possession after the Guest’s tenancy expires; (2) commits a material breach of any provision of this Agreement, including the Rental Rules; (3) fails to pay charges as required by this Agreement; (4) fails to sign the Agreement prior to occupancy; or, (5) has obtained possession of the premises by misrepresentation or fraud. The Guest entering into this Agreement must be 25 years of age or older in order to secure the rental and take possession of the property.

To provide an 11am checkout time, when we have guests checking in the same day you are checking out, we'll ask you start a load of towels. This helps our caretaker ensure The Lodge is ready for the next guest at 4pm. It's quite a feat to do a "same day turnover" and we are appreciative of your help with this and hope you enjoy the slightly later checkout time.

Minimum age limit for renters: 25

The primary renter must be a minimum of 25 years of age. We reserve the right to deny accommodations if the number of people under the age of 25 is disproportionate to parental supervision (one parent or legal guardian per 4 children under 25 years of age)

Maximum occupancy: 12

The rental party shall consist of the number of guests indicated on the Booking Confirmation accompanying this Agreement and made a part hereof by reference. The maximum number of guests is limited to ten (10) persons unless otherwise agreed upon. The property rental is not intended for house parties or group functions, including, but not limited to, graduation, prom, fraternity, sorority, club or similar group parties or functions, which are expressly prohibited. Use of the property for such purposes may result in immediate eviction without refund. Any number of overnight guests in excess of ten (10) will not be allowed to remain on the property. Failure to observe this prohibition shall result in immediate eviction. Any reservation obtained under false pretenses will be subject to forfeiture of deposit and/or rental money and the party will not be permitted to check in.

We allow an additional 2 guests (totaling 12) with prior notice and for a small additional fee to cover the additional cleaning cost and wear and tear and utilities used.

House Rules

No smoking, No pets, No parties or events. Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM.

Payment Policy

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking if paying by credit card, with the remaining balance due via Venmo 60 days before check-in. Alternatively, you may pay the full amount upfront by credit card at the time of booking.

Refundable Damage Deposit

A damage protection is due prior to the Check-In Date and is paid through Venmo. This non-refundable $25 + $10/night fee will be used to cover damages incurred during your stay up to $1500. If no damages are incurred, this fee will be not be refunded. If damages exceed $1500, by entering into this Agreement and occupying the Property, the Guest specifically authorizes the Owner to charge any expenses or damages incurred resulting from the intentional or reckless damage, extraordinary cleaning requirements or theft of any property from the unit, to the credit card on file in connection with this reservation. The booking Guest, for the purposes of charging the credit card, shall be deemed the responsible party for any and all such expenses, damages, extraordinary cleaning or theft resulting from the actions of any person in or occupying the rental property during the Guest’s stay.

Cancellation Policy

100% refund within 48 hours of booking & 30 days before check-in.

During summer (May 15-August 15), 100% refund 60 days before checkin. Otherwise, no refund.

Refunds are what you have paid minus credit card fees incurred.

Depending on the situation, we're happy to work with you in emergency situations if possible, but we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
