The fenced backyard has seating for 10 and a charcoal BBQ. Relax under the huge willow tree or barbecue while the children and pets play in safety. Or sit out on the front porch and chat with the friendly neighbors. On many occasions Moose have been seen walking down the sidewalk in front of the house and 'pruning' the shrubs in the backyard!
This desirable Lake Street home is located on a corner lot in the heart of Sandpoint. The house is within walking distance to all the great restaurants, the farmers market, entertainment and shopping in downtown Sandpoint. A large health food grocery store is just a block away. A short five block walk to swimming and sunning on the Lake at City Beach! Or use the bikes that come with the rental.

Lower Level Bedroom 1 - 1 Queen Bed connected to downstairs full bath Bedroom 2 - 1 Queen Bed
Upper Level - Bedroom 3 – 1 Queen Bed and 2 twin Day Beds connected to a Full Bath with tub and shower
"Bedroom" 4 - Loft space - 2 Twin beds separated by privacy curtain. Not a true bedroom but a private space, see pictures.
The Retreat above the garage:
Bedroom 5 - 1 Queen Bed connected to a Full Bathroom (Shower) This can be reserved at an additional cost of $125 per night plus a one time $50 cleaning fee.

Winter Parking: In times of snowfall the city will be plowing the streets Monday - Friday and on street parking is allowed only on the even side of the street which is across the street from the Lake Street Cottage or in front of the garage in the back of the property.

Policies and Rules
CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 4 P.M. AND CHECK-OUT IS 10 A.M. NO Early Check-ins unless pre approved.
Check in instructions will be sent to you a few days before you arrival.
SMOKING Absolutely NO SMOKING. If smoking is detected in the house, your entire security deposit will be forfeited.
BACK UP SUPPLIES: A supply of paper goods, cleaning products, towels and clean ironed sheets are stored in the Lake Street Cottage for the use of our housekeeping staff. Please do not use these items. If you use these items and our staff is not able to turn around the house for incoming guests by the 3:30 deadline, you may be charged against your damage deposit.
Pets are not permitted unless prior approval and a $75 pet fee is collected.
Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up of any/all pet refuse. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. All pets must be up to date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm preventive is highly recommended. All pets are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. The owners assume no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises.
EARLY DEPARTURE: If you choose to vacate the property prior to the departure date listed on your Tenant agreement, you will NOT receive a refund.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT: A damage deposit of $200 is required. Refund is made provided the following is met:
a)No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear
b)Furniture has not been moved to other rooms in the house
c)No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay
d)Back up supplies have not been used
e)All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and dishwasher is started.
f)House is left locked
g)No linens are lost or damaged
h)No RV’s can be parked outside and hooked up to the Lake Street house utilities during your stay
i)The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, the manager acting as my agent
a)No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear
b)Furniture has not been moved to other rooms in the house
c)No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay
d)Back up supplies have not been used
e)All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and dishwasher is started. The housekeeper would appreciate it if a load of towels are started in the washing machine. (Wash on Hot with large load setting)
f)House is left locked
g)No linens are lost or damaged
h)No RV’s can be parked outside and hooked up to the Lake Street house utilities during your stay
i)The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, the manager acting as my agent
No refund if cancelled inside the 30 day window from check in.
The BALANCE OF RENT is due thirty (30) days before your arrival date.
Final payment including fees and deposits, are due 30 days prior to your arrival date. Please mark this on your calendar, as NO INVOICE WILL BE SENT FOR THE FINAL PAYMENT. If not received by the due date your reservation is subject to cancellation without refund.
