Guests will gain entry to the property using a keyless system. A unique key code will be sent to guests a few days before their arrival, which they can use to access the entire house.

1. Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is after 4:00 PM, and check-out is before noon. Please adhere to these times to ensure enough time to prepare the property for our next guests.

2. No Parties/Events: No parties or events are allowed on the property. Any gatherings or disturbances reported will result in immediate eviction without a refund.

3. No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the property. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside and dispose of your cigarette butts properly.

4. Quiet Hours: Please observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM out of respect for our neighbors.

5. Pets: To maintain the comfort and cleanliness of our home for all guests, we have a no-pet policy. Please make arrangements for your furry friends before your stay. Thank you for understanding.

6. Cleanliness: Please treat our home as your own. We kindly ask that you leave the property in the same condition you found it in.

7. Damages: Accidents happen, but we appreciate you reporting any damages or issues during your stay so we can address them promptly.

8. Occupancy: The number of guests allowed on the property up to 8 people. Additional guests must be approved in advance.

9. Unregistered Visitors: While we welcome guests to have visitors during their stay, the number of people in the property mustn't exceed the limit initially agreed upon at the time of booking. All visitors must be registered with the host.

10. Extra Charge for Additional Overnight Guests: Guests will be charged an additional fee for each overnight visitor beyond the agreed-upon number. The extra charge will be USD20 per night per additional guest. This charge will be applied to the guest's reservation and must be paid before check-out.

11. Amenities: Please feel free to use any of the amenities provided in the property, but make sure to leave them in the same condition you found them.

12. Dining: Please use the designated dining table for meals and refrain from eating in the bedroom or on the couch.

13. Parking: You may park at the property, in front of the house, or along the village street.

14. Security: For your safety and the security of the property, please lock all doors and windows when you leave the property.

15. No Illegal Activities: Engaging in any illegal activities on the property is strictly
prohibited and will result in immediate eviction without a refund.

Cancellation Policy

The Golden House Short-Term Rental Cancellation Policy
At The Golden House, we understand that plans can change and unforeseen circumstances can arise. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to our guests and hosts. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

1. Standard Cancellation Policy
More than 30 days before check-in: Guests can cancel their booking more than 30 days before check-in for a full refund of the booking amount.
14 to 30 days before check-in: Guests canceling within this period will be refunded 50% of the booking amount. Less than 14 days before check-in: No refund will be issued for cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in.

2. Long-Term Reservation (28 nights or more)
For long-term reservations, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in to receive a full refund. If a guest cancels less than 30 days in advance, the first 30 days of the reservation are non-refundable, but the remaining days will be 50% refunded.

3. Early Departure
Guests who decide to leave before their reservation end date will not be entitled to a refund for the nights not spent.

4. Force Majeure
In the event of a force majeure, where travel becomes impossible due to natural disasters, pandemics, government lockdowns, or other uncontrollable events, guests may be eligible for a full refund regardless of the cancellation timeframe. Documentation proof may be required.

5. Modifications
Date Changes: Guests can request to change their booking dates up to 14 days before check-in without a fee, subject to availability and any price difference.
Guest Number Changes: Changes in the number of guests are allowed up to 7 days before check-in without a fee, as long as the maximum occupancy is not exceeded.

6. No-Shows
If a guest does not show up by midnight local time the day following the check-in date without prior notice, this will be considered a no-show, and the reservation will be canceled with no refund.

7. Cancellation by Host
If The Golden House must cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will be notified as soon as possible and will receive a full refund.

8. How to Cancel
To cancel your reservation, please get in touch with us directly via email or phone as listed on your booking confirmation. Please include your reservation number and the name under which the reservation was made.
