Hi, I’m your host, Nicole! My husband and I bought this beach house because it’s such a unique location situated on the tidal marsh, on a quiet street, and literally a short (0.3 mile) walk to the beach. Our family loves it and I’m so excited to have you stay at our 3-bedroom 2.5 bathroom vacation rental on Oak Island, NC.

Bedrooms: Three cozy bedrooms, each equipped with a 32” Roku smart TV, promise a restful nights sleep. Choose from two king beds or two Xlong twin beds, made ready with premium 100% cotton Eddie Bauer Home linens for your arrival.

Bathrooms: Our cottage boasts two full bathrooms, including an ensuite bathroom attached to the master bedroom, and an outdoor shower area complete with hot and cold water.

W Pelican is a quiet street with a mix of rentals and year-round residents. Houses on our side of Pelican overlook the beautiful marsh, providing excellent views, great bird-watching, and quiet place to retreat.

If you are looking for a party house, please keep looking.

The cottage is literally a 3 min walk to the closest beach access (timed by both myself and maps app). If you wish to try out different beach access points, Oak Island charges for parking using an app. Instructions are posted at each access point.

Trip insurance: Life happens and the weather can be unpredictable. We strongly recommend trip insurance when traveling. It protects you in the event that you have to cancel outside of our cancellation policy window or experience trip interruption due to injury, illness, evacuation, or other reasons.

Linens: Your cleaning fee includes 100% cotton sheets from Eddie Bauer Home, 100% cotton bath towel sets, and kitchen towels and sponges. We do not include beach towels, so please plan to bring your own.

Waiver: Since we offer recreation equipment, a liability waiver is required. That waiver will be sent to you shortly after booking.

Supplies:
We will supply a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, a few dishwasher pods, a few laundry pods, and a few trash bags. We also supply full size Public Goods brand hand soap, dish soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner for your use. Please plan accordingly on what you need to bring depending on your length of stay and product preferences.
