Welcome to Cape Coral, FL! This spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bath family-friendly home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood just minutes away from shopping, waterfront dining, fishing, kayaking, and all the fun activities you can imagine!

Prepare to experience the best of indoor and outdoor tropical living.

The space
As you step into the Dolphin Retreat, youll immediately feel at home in the tranquil and relaxing open-concept living area. The soothing ambiance of the living room, furnished with a large sectional and a 65 Roku TV for your entertainment, invites you to unwind and forget the cares of the world. You are now on vacation time!

The beautiful kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, oven, and dishwasher. A generously sized island is perfect for meal preparation and dining, with three counter stools for additional seating. For a quick pick-me-up, we provide coffee and tea at the coffee bar, complete with a Hamilton Beach FlexBrew coffee maker.

To the right of the kitchen, youll find a large dining room table that seats eight, offering a view of the pool area. If you prefer outdoor dining, simply slide open the glass doors to access another covered dining area.

The Dolphin Retreat offers four thoughtfully decorated bedrooms.

It is important to note that bedrooms 2-4 are situated on the other side of the house. Right off the bedrooms, youll find a cozy reading nook, furnished with two swivel chairs and a selection of books and games for winding down and relaxing.

The laundry room has a washer/dryer, as well as a hanging rack for your clothes. There is also an iron/ironing board.

A broom and dustpan, mop, and vacuum cleaner is provided in the garage for your convenience.

Were happy to welcome your furry companions to our vacation rental, on a case-by-case basis. With a fully fenced yard, your beloved pets can enjoy the freedom and security of the spacious yard. There is a $150 pet fee per stay. Be sure to mention your pet when inquiring about booking!

Guest access
Access to the Entire House and Yard: This is a single-family home. Guests who rent the home will have exclusive access to the entire house, including the yard and pool.

Owners Closet: There is a locked and labeled owners closet located next to the hallway bathroom, and guests do not have access to open this closet.

Garage Contents: Please note that I do keep some of my personal items in the garage, along with items that are there for your use: baby highchair, fan, vacuum, broom and dustpan, mop, and beach chair.

After visiting, we loved the area so much that we also decided to purchase a slice of paradise! We became hosts because until we are ready to live in Cape Coral full time, we wanted to open up our quiet oasis to you and your family/friends and let you fall in love as well!

Getting around

Renting a car is your best bet but do be mindful of the tolls, particularly getting on to Cape Coral from Ft. Myers. They can be avoided for a longer commute of about 10 minutes depending on traffic. Double check with your rental car company on how they handle the tolls (Sunpass). There aren't any tolls going to Ft. Myers from Cape Coral. UBER and LYFT serve the area if you don't want to drive. House Rules

- Quiet Hours: 10pm-7am.

- No unregistered guests are allowed. This includes those staying with you overnight or visiting during the day. Please contact us if you need to add guests to the reservation.

- The minimum guest age to book the rental is 25 years. Please note that the booking guest must also be a staying guest; we do not accept third-party bookings.

-This is a non-smoking property. Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited due to potential allergies among guests. A $400 fee will be imposed for smoking violations.

- Burning candles or incense is not allowed. Please use battery-operated candles.

- There is a limit of no more than 4 vehicles in the driveway. Please avoid parking on the grass or on the street. We cannot accommodate trailers or boats. If you have an RV, you can request a temporary permit from the city of Cape Coral in order to park it in the driveway.

-While we aim to provide an authentic Florida experience, we try hard to keep the wildlife outside and that includes our home regularly undergoing pest control treatments. Due to Florida's tropical environment, sometimes little critters make their way indoors even if you keep a spotless home. We do not give discounts or refunds for insect encounters.

Pool Rules:
1. Use at your own risk. We are not responsible for accidents or injuries.
2. Please do not bring glass in or near the pool. Plastic cups and plates are provided in the kitchen.
3. Please do not use the pool if under the influence of alcohol or if you are ill.
4. Please no food or drink in the pool.
5. Please shower before entering the pool.
6. Please no diving, running, or horseplay.
7. No child should be left unsupervised even if they know how to swim. Note- There is no barrier around the pool so all children must be supervised outside.
8. Toddlers and babies must wear a swim diaper.

Payment Policy

Full payment due at booking. We except Venmo, Zelle, and Apple Pay. We are open to accepting other methods of payment as well, please contact us to discuss. Reservation not guaranteed until Vacation Rental Agreement is signed. We recommend buying Trip Insurance.

Refundable Damage Deposit

The refundable security deposit will be returned within 14 days of departure unless our cleaners report excessive damage. This deposit is specifically allocated for, but not limited to, property damage, unreported overnight guests, unreported pets, and pet waste not cleaned in the yard.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund for cancellations up to 60 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 60 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 30 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 14 days before check-in. No refund after that.

Notes

The house should be left in the condition it was in upon arrival, with the exception of basic cleaning and laundering.
