This tri-level bluff home possesses wonderful ocean views and an open floor plan with an ocean-inspired color palette. The Dolphin Hale features 5 actual bedrooms (with closets, dressers, and legal egress), 4.5 updated baths, two living spaces, a dining area with table for 10 (padded chairs), LARGE gourmet Chef's Kitchen, spa and 5-burner outdoor grill. Among the creature comforts, The Dolphin Hale touts A/C in the greater living areas, Smart Flat Screen TVs, USB ports, and Comfort Height toilets.* Moreover, The Dolphin Hale sleeps up to 10 in real beds--no futons or sofa-sleepers here! The heart of this home is the spacious Chef's Kitchen (Viking 6-Burner Gas Stove-top) and Island (seats 6) serving as a great place for casual breakfasts or Happy Hour!



Located in the master-planned community of Princeville, guests of The Dolphin Hale also will appreciate its proximity to the Princeville shopping center, golf courses and the Princeville Resort Kauai (formerly the St Regis Hotel)--all within walking distance of the house. In addition, there is a jungle path to the private Kaweonui Beach aka Sealodge Beach that can be hiked, but caution is advised when wet. Further, the world famous Hanalei Beach Park is just minutes away by car and is well worth a visit.



Upon returning to The Dolphin Hale after your day trip to any one of the numerous island attractions, relax in the NEW spa off the lower lanai, or have drinks and barbecue on the upper lanai--both overlooking the ocean. The sound of the surf breaking below also can be heard from the guest rooms, so open the windows and enjoy the cool Trade Winds as well as the amenities of The Dolphin Hale on your next visit to the North Shore of Kauai.



Please be advised that The Dolphin Hale sits between two homes occupied by full-time residents. As a good neighbor policy, bachelor or bachelorette parties, weddings, or other such events are prohibited.

We had a great stay. The beaches were far less accessible than we hoped for. We had to drive everywhere. No amenities are within walking distance.

Response:As they say, it's all relative. The Dolphin Hale is not located in a "city center." Princeville is more akin to a suburban neighborhood. However, unlike other N Shore communities, there is a nice shopping center here full of amenities and others are sprinkled throughout it. Most Guests enjoy walking to them. As for area beaches, Princeville is planted on a plateau. So, gaining access to surrounding beaches can be a challenge for those who may not be hikers. Regardless, Hanalei Beach Park and Anini Beach Park are just a short drive from the house. ~ With Aloha, Tammy

the home and view were beautiful. centrally located and close to grocery store, which was a plus for last minute items. after active days filled with hiking, golfing, foiling, snorkeling, etc., the hot tub was an added bonus for tired muscles. kitchen : eating areas were roomy for nine adults sharing cooking duties. home layout also allowed for quiet:me time for individuals as well. we couldn’t have asked for a better home our vacation.

The property was awesome. The hostess went out of her way to correct damage from a recent storm. The two rating is due to her constant contact in paranoia that our Harvard graduate married lawyers and Doctors and wives were coming and going to much. This was as a torn in our side during our very high class wedding celebration.

Response:Unfortunately for all parties concerned, The Dolphin Hale, Princeville was not well suited for use by the groom, groomsmen and their significant others for this week long wedding event at the start. Suffice to say, had the Booking Guest (who was not in residence) heeded the two notes I sent as reminders of the House Rules, we might have been spared a $300 Fine resulting from an After Party that involved significantly more wedding goers than the 9 Guests as disclosed. Future Guests would be wise to abide by the House Rules and community Quiet Hours, or seek a property outside of Princeville. ~ Mahalo, Tammy
