Surrounded by many popular and local beaches and villages including Newgale, Solva and St. David’s, Cwtch Lackerlee offers a relaxing option for those looking for a coastal getaway in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

With views over the Preseli Hills, the newly refurbished studio apartment sits on a 3.5 acre small holding. It's a self-contained studio apartment with private bathroom, wifi, tv with streaming services, double kayak, paddle and body boards available (to rent)

Lackerlee or ‘Lecherlee’ as it was originally called was built sometime around 1860. The main house which comprised of what is now the family kitchen housed a family of 11 who supported the surrounding farming community.
Originally, the property managed over 200 acres of farmland which over the years were sold to the surrounding larger farms leaving it with the 3.5 acres it has today. We maintain a path around the fields which you are welcome to use and please feel free to sit, relax or play across the property.
Since Tim and Krista bought the property in 2005, they’ve worked hard to sensitively renovate the existing main house, building modern and sympathetic additions in keeping with the original construction, when viewed from the road making it fit to serve as an energy efficient modern family home.

Whilst appearing stone, the annex and garage unit is actually of insulated double block construction clad with stone that came from the internal and external walls removed in the main property when it was extensively renovated between in 2018-2020.
Solar Photovoltaic panels contribute to the electrical demands with a ground source heat pump located underneath in the Cedar Clad room under Annex’s staircase providing the hot water and heating requirements!

We live on a 3.5 acre small holding comprising two fields. We have cut a path round the fields for ease of access.

Guests are welcome to call or message Tim / Krista or if we are in just give a knock on the door.

We'd love to hear about your adventures and offer advice on how to make the most of your stay with us.
