The warm and inviting cottage is nestled within a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood in the heart of the Cape May Peninsula. Newly renovated, make it your retreat while exploring seaside resorts, pristine beaches, world class birding, nature activities, shopping, antiquing, golf, biking, hiking, as well as wineries, breweries, live music & fabulous dining. Return to the cottage to relax under tall oaks in your spacious & private backyard, with comfortable patio seating and fire-pit.

The open concept living, dining and kitchen are centrally located in our completely renovated and charming cottage. Plenty of natural light fill the home with warmth and refreshment.

The first floor offers a well equipped kitchen with dining area, a comfortable living room, and well equipped laundry with half bath. The second floor offers a spacious master bedroom, bath with tub and tile shower, and a second bedroom with double bed. There is a single bed/reading nook in the transitional space between the two bedrooms, perfect for a teen or small adult.

The cottage offers you all the comforts of home including an enclosed backyard with an inviting outdoor seating area with grill and fire pit.

In the kitchen you will find everything you need for basic meal prep. The list includes table service, chefs knives, basic cooking spices and oils, pots and pans, coffee pot (with filters and ground coffee), and a host of other conveniences.

Guests have access to all areas in the home and yard with the exception of the owners closet.

The cottage is perfect for couples and families looking to enjoy all the town has to offer while being able to return to a more quiet, private accommodation.

You will be a short drive to Cape May City (about 10 mins) where you will find the beautiful beaches, iconic Victorian homes, the Washington Street Mall, and many great places to eat. The cottage is also a short drive to the Wildwoods and the Wildwood boardwalk.

The cottage is only a few minutes from a number of breweries and vineyards including the Cape May Brewery.

Treat the cottage kindly. No parties, events or gatherings. No smoking or vaping in the house. No unregistered guests. No pets. Quiet hours are between 10pm- 8am. Please respect the neighbors during your stay. Not suitable for infants (under 2 years). Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM.

Payment Policy

To confirm your reservation, an invoice will be sent to you for payment. Please review the invoice carefully and follow the payment instructions provided.

Reservation Confirmation: Your reservation will be considered confirmed once full payment is received.

Payment Method: Payment can be made via credit card. Please note that we do not accept cash payments.

Deposit: A deposit may be required to secure your reservation. The deposit amount and payment details will be outlined in the invoice.

Payment Schedule: The payment schedule will be specified in the invoice. Typically, full payment is required 30 days prior to the arrival date. Failure to make payment by the specified deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation.

Additional Charges: Any additional charges incurred during your stay (e.g., damages, extra services) will be invoiced separately and must be settled before check-out.

Currency: All prices are quoted in USD. Please ensure that payment is made in the specified currency to avoid any discrepancies.

Receipt: A receipt will be issued upon receipt of payment. Please retain this receipt for your records.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our guests as best we can. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 30 days before the arrival date will receive a 100% refund of the total booking amount.

Partial Refund: For cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date, we will make every effort to rebook the dates. If we are successful in rebooking the property for the same dates, a reimbursement will be made for the amount of the listing up to the original booking value.

Please note:

Refunds will be processed within 10 days after the cancellation date.
Cancellations must be made by contacting owner at Jacob@JLHeminway.com.
Any refunds will be subject to any service fees or transaction charges incurred.
We recommend guests consider travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may affect their travel plans.
