Response:Thank you so much for your feedback. You as a guest, also fell very short of our expectations. Our first disappointing guest. When you arrived, you never reported any broken couch. The next day you reported it. We both know you broke the couch. There was also no report of a puddle.
The instructions to our charger are very clear. What was not clear with the fact that you wanted to plug in 2 vehicles in our house and drove your car onto our lawn which damaged it. The reason I reached out to you was because I saw you literally driving on our lawn to plug in your second car. We never monitor the cameras after our guests check in but it kept going off so I took a look and saw you on the lawn.
1 star for location? "Bland surroundings? You booked a house in the woods I am not sure what you were expecting.
Our 5-star reviews on every other review will shine above yours but it is disappointing that you give us a 1-star when we constantly do our best and did nothing wrong on your stay. Good luck on your future rentals.

We had an amazing time away at Jeremiah and Lisseths place they were very responsive and even gave us great recommendations for food!

Very nice! This was a last minute getaway for our 26th anniversary. Host responded very quickly which was great especially since we requested the booking only the day before. Beautiful building, property and furnishings. Thoughtful welcome bottle of wine, coffee and snack, which made us feel very welcoming. Highly enjoyable stay!

This Airbnb unfortunately fell short of expectations and several issues significantly impacted the quality of our stay.
Upon arrival, we discovered a broken couch in the living room, rendering it unusable for relaxing. There was a concerning puddle in the living room. It's unclear where the water originated, and it raised concerns about potential leaks or moisture damage.
The instructions regarding EV charging were unclear. Specifying whether it's a Level 1 or Level 2 charger would be extremely helpful for future guests.
The communication felt excessive. There was a lot of back-and-forth messaging that could have been avoided with clearer instructions in the initial information.
We felt a bit uneasy with the constant feeling of being monitored.
There were prompts within the Airbnb to book through a third-party app. This created unnecessary confusion and is against the policy.
Overall, the lack of clear communication and above mentioned issues made for a less-than-ideal stay.

From the moment my wife and I arrived, we knew we had chosen the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Nestled in a picturesque setting, this Airbnb offered not just a place to stay, but an unforgettable experience. The host welcomed us with warm hospitality, making us feel at home instantly.
The accommodation itself was a masterpiece of comfort and style, blending modern amenities with charming local touches. Each morning, we were greeted by breathtaking views of Mt Pleasant which we hiked and loved.. The location was ideal, offering both seclusion for those quiet, intimate moments and easy access to nearby attractions for when we felt like exploring.

The Barnhaus was exactly as described and more than comfortable. Our visit was during the winter season. There was some snowfall upon arrival and again when we were departing. Both times there was someone there to clear the driveway and walks immediately following the snow fall. The scenery and views (some even of Pleasant Mt. Ski Area) were beautiful. We were looking for a private location were we could access snowshoeing trails but also make easy day trips. The Barnhaus was perfect for both.
Jeremiah and Lisseth were great hosts. They were very accommodating and their responsiveness was nearly immediate throughout our stay (which was just during check in and check out). They even texted earlier in the day of our arrival to let us know the rental was already cleaned and we could check in early if we needed to.
We look forward to visiting again.
