1.HOT TUBS: Guest will abide by the safety instructions listed on the cabin exterior (maximum safe water temperature in a hot tub is 104 degrees, maximum safe soaking time is 15 minutes, hot tubs should not be used during pregnancy, or by children under 12 years old, or by users consuming alcohol while using the tub). Children will not be left unattended while the hot tub cover is off. Guest will not sit on the hot tub cover, and use care when removing or replacing it. If damage occurs during stay, guest agrees to pay for damage (new covers cost $400). USE OF THE HOT TUB IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. Unanticipated repairs to hot tubs can occur. Upon notification of a problem, a repairman will be notified promptly, but owner cannot guarantee that the hot tub will be repaired during your stay, and that an inability to use it does not constitute a reason for refund. Guest acknowledges that, if the hot tub requires draining on the day of arrival, it may not be up to desired temperature upon arrival.
2. SMOKING: This is a NON SMOKING property. This includes the cabin, decks, and yard. If evidence of smoking (cigarettes, cigars, weed, or vaping either via smell of smoke inside the cabin, or butts or ash in the house or yard) is found, guest will be expected to pay a separate fee of $250. Rental damage insurance does not cover smoking violations.
3.REFUNDS: No refunds for early departures, road or weather conditions, interruptions of utilities (electric, water, or internet), or hot tub malfunction.
4. PARKING: Parking is limited to four (4) vehicles. Vehicles must to be parked in the driveway; parking on the road is not permitted. Illegally parked cars are subject to towing. Any fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of vehicle owner. No trailers permitted.
5. FIREPLACES: The fireplaces are gas burning fireplaces. Do not leave an active fire burning at the house. Firewood is available at any of the convenience stores in Helen.
6. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS: Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to loss of payments received, and the party will not be permitted to check in, or asked to leave immediately.
7. HOUSE MANAGEMENT: Guest agrees to observe the following house rules:
A. Furniture and contents are not moved.
B. No evidence of cigarette or cigar use is found inside the house, on the decks, or in yard.
C. All trash is placed in kitchen trash can, or overflow cans in kitchen pantry. No trash is left in yard or on decks. Excessive amounts of trash may result in additional charges.
D. Cabin's towels are not used for the hot tub or the grill.
E. Grill racks are scrubbed with grill brush at the end of use.
F. Do not overflow hot tub, or sit on the cover. Do not remove the bromine dispenser from the hot tub.
G. No unapproved early check-in or late check out, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
H. No excessive alcoholic drinking or noise.
I. No occupancy other than those guests stated in the reservation process.
J. Individual who books is present at cabin during the entire stay.
K. All departure check list items are completed satisfactorily.
